We now know that the god who dies is not Pharasma. If it were, the psychpomp would not be able to present the book to her as a gift.
Actually we do not. The authors have clarified that nothing can be inferred from this book about which Core 20 deity dies.

Very true, but as a crackpot Sherlock wannabe, I have cleverly deduced through complete guessing and the ignoring of facts that the dead deity shall not be Arazni, Sarenrae, Pharasma, or Asmodeus. They are all present on the cover of the new book (three in stained glass, one as an official designated bird holder). I think I'm going to add Rovagug as a fifth 'not-gonna-die' deity as well, as I have just now decided that the purple and black rose looking thing below stained glass Sarenrae is Mr. Vagug himself.

We're on to you, Paizo. Your secrets are forfeit. Probably.

I never knew I needed a shark with a hat in my life so badly until this very moment.

Can we talk ancestries for a minute? Because I'm having a very "SHUT UP AND TAKE MY ACP" moment in my mind right now.

Many congrats to Joel, Cy, and Terry!

Also, I can't wait to run a heist on Shiela Heidmarch. I'm foolishly presuming that's what it'll be all about. Possibly a bad idea, but I know a Summoner who is arrogant enough to think they can pull something like that off, so...

Ooh! Lemme at the leaderboards! I can't wait to get a whole lotta questions at least 40% wrong!

(Look, I'm not saying they aren't NOT space-faring fish that threw a rock at us, I'm just saying that it was a really big rock and fins can't maintain that kind of grip probably.)

*awards self 10 points for this "fact", putting me in the lead*

I don't think I've yet met Taiwalei in my PFS adventures, but I've come to absolutely adore Safa after Season 3, and I'm super jazzed to see them as a Venture-Captain.

Very cool. I'm glad they just did some retcon on Gom-Gom rather than say Yoon lost her stuffed animal somewhere in the last 10 years, it's a really cool touch that she still has it.

Hope that ship didn't burn down on landing. :D

I am absolutely delighted to be wrong on my prediction of who Baranthet has become, and super jazzed to hear about more of the book at Paizocon!

I've met some people with hallucinatory breath, but then I politely offered them a mint and it was a little better. :D

I love the idea of a dragon just hanging out in "plain sight" with illusions keeping everyone away, or them just interacting with a dragon as if it was a merchant stall or something. "Yes, hello! I am normal merchant man, selling wares for your shiniest gold!"

I love the slow reveal of who Grandmother and Barenthet are as a people. Super curious to discover what this might be teasing for the future.

To quote a legendary Pirate Captain, "The code is more like guidelines."

I feel like keeping that in the back of your head will help a lot with an understanding of both the rules, and of the table variance you would see should you sit at a PFS table.

If I had to summarize all this into one sentence, I'd probably say something like, "Looks like the fallout from the 'OGL incident' has allowed for an avalanche of errata to drop."

I'm sure I'd be over-simplifying things if I said that, but that's about where I'd put things right now.

Alright Paizo, color me very intruiged.

I love all the visits to Dacilane Academy, and I can not wait to prank as many players as possible! (That's probably how this plays out, right?)

I've got a Cleric itching to get back to Osirion and inflict some justice on those undead. Glad the wait isn't long! And more Arcadia (and replayables!) is always a good time.

(I really need to play more Starfinder, the headless spider-bot looks awesome!)

Ghost Champion (Paladin) of Sarenrae with the Marshal archetype. Doesn't remember her name. Goes by "Silverspire", as that's the only jumble of words that comes to her when she tries to remember being alive. Feels the need to join and defend the Pathfinder Society. Destroys her own kind (undead) with reckless abandon, commands her companions to better accomplish these ends.

I'm not saying this could be Ollysta Zadrian, but I'm not NOT saying that either.

You can shake it all around
You can go up and down
You can lose what you found
But you can't ignore my techno

You can go west to east
Confess your sins to a priest
You can slay the wicked beast
But you can't ignore my techno

You can go to the doctor
You can cough in his face
Infect the whole human race
But you can't ignore my techno

You can laugh, you can cry
You can live, you can die
Spend your days asking why
But you can't ignore my techno

You can trip on my synthesizer
Electronic world for every boy and every girl
You can trip on my synthesizer
In the end, technology unto the world will set us free

Be all that you can be
Just as long as you are free
You were blind and now you see
That which is my techno

You can trip on my synthesizer
Electronic world for every boy and every girl
You can trip on my synthesizer
In the end technology unto the world will set us free

You can trip on my
You can trip on my
You can trip on my
You can trip, you can trip
You can trip on my synthesizer
You can trip on my synthesizer
Let's go

My bets/guesses/desperate desires are Inquisitor and whatever a Solarian would be in PF2.

And for the love of all that is holy (pun fully intended), more Doctrines for Clerics!

My Wizard is very much so built around being far away from people with knives who like to stab, so as long as there's something resembling a front line, I'm not often hit. I'm comfortable staying 50 or so feet behind where the swords are swinging, firing spells and arrows over my friend's heads and into the throngs of bad guys.

When I am hit, though, I crumple like a wet napkin. It's a bad scene.

This is a super cool idea for a recurring blog. Tease out the new feats, explore new ideas for character builds, and give us GMs a few extra tools in the ol' box!

But especially whoever it was that made the case for Valais Durant to be a Faction Leader. She's been my own personal Venture-Captain ever since she introduced herself amongst a bunch of dusty bookshelves long ago.

I don't fully understand yet how characters will apply themselves to factions, but I assure you my first PFS2 character will be a member of the Radiant Oath.

On the stream today, Sara Marie mentioned that her character might still need a last name.

Should Carina want it, the Thunderpike clan would welcome you with open arms. :D

Most of my Dwarves are named Thunderpike, so if nothing else she might have distant relatives out there somewhere playing in Pathfinder Society.
