Since Starfinder is science-fantasy obviously magic will play a significant role. Can you tell us about the sort of themes and spells the two revealed caster classes, the Mystic and the Technomancer, will cover and how the two of them are the same or different than the current set of casters in Pathfinder?

Thanks for your great work!

Thanks!

Can someone with the PDF please tell me about the Faith and Self Perfection Disciplines of the Psychic? Are there any other interesting changes or additions to the Psychic class from the play test? How does the Formless Adept archetype work?

I've combed the thread and have been able to find very little mention of the Psychic, which seems odd in a book about "psychic magic"!

Thanks!

Would it be reasonable to add a selection of healing and remedial spells to the list? Psychic healing / life force sharing / psychic surgery are all strong elements of most New Age practices. As is there is no real class that can serve as a groups healer without recourse to outside spiritual powers - allowing the Psychic to fill that role with inner powers drawn from their mind and life essence would be really helpful in campaigns where either the players or GM is uncomfortable dealing with spiritual issues or divine powers aren't in keeping with the theme.

I think the best format to explore Numeria would be to do a book that covers all of the more science - fiction / planetary - romance elements of the game together. That way those who want crashed starships, the other planets, perhaps psychic magic, and other exotic goodies can have them and those who are uncomfortable with mixing in such elements can leave them out or just gloss them over.
