About Pepin of Linnorm
Pepin hails from the north-land of the Linnomin Kings. He grew up as and is a viking by blood.
As a lad of 15; Pepin set out with others on quests and raids. It was during this time that he encountered Andoran traders and ran afoul of the Andora's navy. He was put to port in Absolom.
He found some work at the harbor, where his talents as a sailor were noticed by pathfinders. While in training, other latent sorcery talents were discovered. He was accepted into the Society for his knowledge and skill at sea; as well as his boreal blooded talents.
In the last six years with the society; Pepin has traveled extensively. Including many months in the lands of Tien. He was introduced to many aspects of the proud and honorable culture; as well as exotic creatures. The Society called it a Quest for Perfection. Pepin's actions earned him respect as a True Ally of the Lantern Lodge.
Saddened to see the Lantern Lodge faction dissolved; he was an unwilling puppet in the rise, corruption and fall of his own faction. He has not been pleased at all; to be a Pawn of the Grandmaster. Now, in his travels, Pepin keeps an awareness about for the opportunity to exact revenge against Grandmaster Torch.
Pepin was able to avoid most of the trouble and Society efforts in the Worldwound. That area being far from the sea, was not suited to his talents. He sails his personal long-ship across the inner-sea. And there are some disturbing rumors that he may be working with organized crime groups from Garund. However, he may just be chasing down the convoluted instructions of a Treasure Map.
At any rate Pepin and his ship were last seen at port in Absolom.

I, Pepin, request that, should I fall during some far flung adventure; I will be raised from the dead. please make this happen with whatever wealth and influence I may have. If this is not possible, set my body ablaze and adrift at sea, so that I might meet my viking ancestors.
