Pandin is large by Wetlander standards standing at 6'7 with black hair, (very unusual for an Aiel) and eyes as blue as the sea. Pandin just recently was accepted as an algai'd'siswai after a raid on his sept in which the Stone Dogs were overwhelmed. Seeing his father fall by the spear of a Maiden Pandin grabbed his father's spear and with ease began dancing the spears with the Maiden whom killed his father. In the middle of their dance Trollocs began to attack and Pandin took a hooked arrow to his left eye. Breaking the arrow off himself, as to not incur toh to the Maiden with whom he was dancing, Pandin turned his attention to the Trollocs. As the Darkfiends attacked the Iron Mountain Sept left as they did not wish to fight alongside the Stones River, nor did they think it wise to attack again after the Darkfiends were repelled. Once the Trollocs invasion was ended and the Stones River began to tally up their dead and the dead Darkfiends it was found that Pandin himself had slain 15 Trollocs. They found this amazing as he had not been formally trained nor indoctrinated into the Stone Dogs and they quickly accepted him making him a algai'd'siswai. Due to his battle prowess and his ability to get anywhere unseen his Clan chief sent him on a mission into the Wetlands to try and figure out why there has been an increase in shadowfiend activity as of late.
