Paillicea served in the temple of Erastil after her family was slain in one of the many raids on her village. Moving to the city, the temple provided her with knowledge of many nobility especially with her celestial heritage. She met a halfling cavalier from Lastwall who had asperations of becoming a paladin of Iomedae but settled for warpriest before he traveled to southern Belzken to defend those from the Orc hords.
After serving in the military in the war against Molthune, Pallicea was beset by a surprise attack, and barely survived an encounter with the Ironfang Legion, one of Molthune’s infamous monster regiments.
Surviving the horrors of the Ramgate Massacre. She can’t scrub the memories of their brutality from her waking or sleeping mind, and Pali keenly recalls their distinctive fighting styles.
She moved with her wolf companion to the village of Phaendar to try to escape memories of the raid, but also protect the villagers from having to suffer a similar fate.
