Osmillar could most aptly be summarized as lively and passionate, filled with an unquenchable curiosity. He harbors many deep passions, as gnomes are wont to do, chief amongst which are his research projects concerning history, lost technologies, ancient ruins, and tongues of civilisations lost.
A polite and formal man, he seeks to avoid conflict where possible, and abhors disputes. He is particularly averse to combat, preferring to resolve things as peacefully as possible. If cornered, he favors the use of ruse and guile to any form of brute strength.
Osmillar considers himself a careful man, who rarely wanders into risky situations blindly. He prefers to study each course of action carefully and make an informed choice, and precognizes book smarts and careful methodology.
It would be an error to say that Ozmillar gets along with anyone easily. He has little patience for those he perceives as willingly ignorant, or those that would disparage what he sees as his noble pursuit of knowlege. That being said, it is rare for him to voice such opinions; in his experience, few folk are as dangerous as those who favor the strength of their blades over the logic of their brains.
