FLAWS (RECEIVE NO BENEFIT)
Minor Indefinite insanities
Core skills chosen to represent his physical and mental prowess - the Occult and Spellcraft were a hobby of his during his education. The non-core skills were chosen in the aftermath of his family's death - disguise to hide his identity (since he changed his name), Knowledge (Psychology) because he was still rational during his breakdown and Psychoanalysis to represent his efforts of not losing his mind.
Skill Emphasis chosen to represent his ability to write. Sensitive chosen to signify that maybe the shadows he constantly sees are, in fact, more than shadows...
The flaws are meant to exhibit his mental health and how he broke down. He isn't fully insane as per the rules (from what I read) but he isn't mentally healthy either.
What I want to play is a character who is weak-willed and scared. It always seemed to be what would be the most fun in a Cthulhu-based game - not to mention challenging.
