Hedonism Drawback:
Orrias is a man who enjoys his pleasures, both simple and ostentatious, and his love of variety means that those seeking to find him may have to search a while when he’s enjoying himself.
On sunny afternoons he often finds himself strolling through the parks or grounds of local universities, arguing with the students and professors there about history, politics, the alchemical sciences, or simply diving in to the local gossip. Other days he seeks out the patios of trendy, upscale restaurants and enjoys the local music while steadily working his way through a bottle of full-bodied red wine and an intriguing (or simply titillating) new book. Summer nights find Orrias in the local dance-halls, making up for his lack of natural charm with his physical grace and formidable intellect in pursuit of merriment or romance.
When the weather turns foul & chilly, Orrias cheers himself up by visiting high-end tailors, being fitted for expensive new outfits that he then requests be held for him—when he can spare the coin he always returns and buys, but alas those moments have been all to infrequent in the past few years. Alternatively, drawing a long, hot bath is a cheaper solution—particularly when one has a companion (professional or otherwise) available to provide a full-body massage. Sometimes a more intimate embrace follows, but that's not a certainly not a requirement and Orrias doesn't mind or resent if it doesn't occur.
Orrias is also no stranger to drugs, for in both Kyonin and the River Kingdoms hallucinogenic substances are not an uncommon pastime, and while he doesn’t partake frequently the investigator isn’t above trying something new or an old favorite—though he’s careful to avoid addiction, as he worries that the cravings who dull his edge and deprive him of his other enjoyments.
