		About Orphion Maganti
"I'm here to take you to the hanging tree...but I'd like you to be worth a bit more first..."
As a youth, Orphion was part of a traveling gypsy caravan of theatre performers. His tiefling heritage had made him seem like a freak of nature to the common humans, and he was gladly taken from his natural family by a witch who thought she could raise him as a slave. But when he saw his first gypsy performance, he knew he found a family that would accept him and ran away from the witch to join the band of freaks and performers.
During his travels with the Ancestral Toro Fecundeists, he learned the Orc language from a half-orc fellow entertainer (feats of painlessness) and occasional performances while passing through Orc occupied territories. Often these performances were expected for free in order for the performers to pass through the lands without harassment. Some of his early duties were to identify the more wealthy looking patrons of the performances and follow them to their homes and then report back to "uncle Ainsley" the troupe master. Uncle would then assign others to go collect more funds from the identified wealthier patrons.
Orphion developed a strong talent of conning people with bluffs and outright lies. He learned the use of the bola and the aklys, both exotic weapons which he used in carnival performances as a trick stunt. The skills of studying people and tracking them lead naturally to his eventual work as a bounty hunter. The use of exotic weapons learned from performances tricks became an immensely useful talent.
