Backstory:
I am NOT the gnome that walked through the Aiudara. That man is still there. I don't know which of us escaped. I'm not imputing malice or anything, it could have been a simple mixup, "there are other worlds than these" and all that.
Everything is familiar but ... different. Ustalav is to the west now. My family is the same, but kinder. And I've changed. Plants grow at my feet before quickly dying off. And I get glimpses of other worlds, like looking at a warped mirror.
