Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

..........

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

Bumping so I can hide the thread in my campaign tab.

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

Apologies for the sparse posting. It's finals week for me.

I'm up to play any new direction you guys are willing to take the campaign in but lack the time to commit to any DMing myself.

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

I have PM'd him and looked at his other games, but from what I can gather he has disappeared from the boards.

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

We're waiting on Gadget.

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

This would be discussion lol.

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

His name is literally "The Shaman". I'm going to call him that from now on regardless if Gadget gives us a real name or not.

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

Thanks for letting us know GM, don't worry about it!

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

Right, Odak doesn't know orc.

Olrune smacks himself in the head, then repeats his request in common.

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

Olrune looks down for a moment, then nods. Orc - "Let's see if the shaman can make anything of this. Odak, put that gear on our mounts, pick this one up. Don't harm him unless he tries to escape."

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

"I am neither, just a man with honor. Letting him go is impractical, and I offered a clean execution." Olrune stares down at the man. "So what'll it be?"

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

Olrune mouths the description, then nods and stands up. "So Tarlen. Would you prefer to be executed or to die fighting?"

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

"You will do no such thing Draxia." He looks back at Tarlen. "I'll ask again, what does your family look like? I can't bloody well protect them if I don't know what they look like."

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

Olrune looks Tarlen in the eye. "What do they look like?"

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

Zon-Kuthon is pretty different from the other deities in there, and Gorum and Calistria are very different despite their alignments.

Olrune watches Draxia silently. This one should be watched. "So Tarlen. Anything else you would like to tell us? There are a couple ways out of this predicament and your fortune increases with information given."

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

Olrune carefully pronounces the draconic words, seeing if Deadeye can make anything of them.

Damn, and I didn't train heal so I can't operate on him to remove it.

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

Knowledge (Arcana): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

Olrune takes a knee. "We are not mindless savages. We only seek to live freely, but your civilization will not allow that. Our blood runs too hot to live under your twisted and corrupt laws. So we fight." Olrune casts detect magic, looking for any spells on the man. "What is your name?"

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

Orc:
"Has anybody even considered that he might know orc?"

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

"And what does this Wizard look like? What sort of spells does he cast?"

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

Deadeye has been asking some questions, the most recent one "Where are the Dragon Knights" has gone unanswered.

Lol can you imagine though?
"TELL US WHAT WE WANT TO KNOW!"
"You haven't said anything, what do you want?"
*Breaks finger* "WHERE IS HE?!"
"Ahhh I don't understand!!!"

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

"That's about all we're good at if you hadn't noticed. You would have thought with your superior intellect you would have known that before attacking." Olrune leans down. "There's two ways this is gonna end. One: you tell us what we want to know. Two: I start breaking bones, then you tell us what we want to know anyways."

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

Olrune steps in front of Deadeye, grabbing the man by the throat and throwing him back to the ground. He puts a boot on the mans chest. "Next time you do something like that it'll be this one who grabs your throat." Olrune jerks a thumb towards Odak.

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

Olrune remains silent, glancing between Deadeye and the prisoner.

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

You know what I look forward to? Olrune using enlarge person on Odak.

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

I'd like to see him try and run lol.

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

I just healed him, so he should be conscious again.

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

Not to be "that guy" who quotes RAW, but Odak your size and weight are definitely not realistic for the large category. A large creature is anywhere between 8' to 16' tall and weights 500-4000 lbs. Your height puts you into the big end of tall and your weight puts you into the gargantuan section.

Not that it matters at all (unless some idiot tries to pick up Odak) but just to help visualize your character.

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

Olrune takes hold of his holy symbol, then pulses out healing magic.

Channel Energy x2: 2d6 ⇒ (4, 5) = 9 Everybody is healed 9 HP.

"Karol, see to the rest of Runt's wounds. I have to break some bones." He thuds over to the leader.

Aid Intimidate: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (13) + 7 = 20

Odak, you should have a +4 size bonus to intimidate per size category larger than your target.

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

#onit

Everybody, I need an update of what your current health is out of your max health. Such as

20/30

So I know how much healing to put where.

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

Olrune moves to one of the prone trappers, trying to finish him off.

Attack: 1d20 + 7 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 7 + 4 = 17
Damage: 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (2, 5) + 10 = 17

+4 bonus for him being prone.

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

I beg to differ. Not only can I match your CLW spell for spell, but I have channel energy on top of that.

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

"Runt!" Olrune furiously tries to finish off the foe next to him, then runs to Runt's side.

Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (20) + 7 = 27
Damage: 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (3, 3) + 10 = 16
Confirm: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19
Damage: 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (6, 3) + 10 = 19

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

How far away is Runt from me? And my opponent is still standing correct, the one adjacent to me?

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

I'm very confused on what is happening in the combat right now.

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

I have furious focus.

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

I didn't expressly say it, but since my opponent dropped I'm just charging around the field now.

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

I broke down the crunch of my numbers in my first combat post.

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

Olrune lets his armor catch the projectile, then lays into the next opponent.

Attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (3) + 9 = 12
Damage: 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (2, 5) + 10 = 17

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

Do you have max HP Odak? Did we roll for HP?

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

I also hope you're not forgetting the strength bonus, the full BaB, the rage powers, and long story short the highest melee DPS class in the entire game (although an argument can be made for the crit magus, which is bloody terrifying).

I mean do whatever you want (are psionics even allowed?) but you are the first person I have EVER met who complained about the barbarian class, and temporary health in particular. As long as you have a healing potion or a cleric it's not really a threat.

DM-"Combat over"
Barbarian-"Before my rage ends I drink my potion of cure moderate wounds so I don't die."
DM-"Ok. So who's looting what?"

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

Temporary HP is temporary, but it can still save your ass. Just if you get low make sure you don't end your rage until I heal you.

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1
RAW wrote:
If a barbarian falls unconscious, her rage immediately ends, placing her in peril of death.

If you beat a barbarian when he is raging, there's a pretty good chance you just killed him. If you're getting that low get close to one of your clerics, probably me since I use positive energy spontaneously.

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

Olrune waits for his allies to act, watching and learning their abilities, then roars and charges in with his greatsword, swinging at the nearest enemy.

Attack: 1d20 + 6 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 6 + 1 + 2 = 17
Damage: 2d6 + 9 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (6, 2) + 9 + 1 + 1 = 19

Current AC is 16 from charging.

Crunch:
To Hit: 2(Bab) +4(str) +1(bard) +2(charging)
Damage: 2d6(weapon) +6(str*3/2) +3(power attack) +1(bard) +1(forment the blood)

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

Olrune puts a finger to his lips, telling Odak to be quiet. He turns around, drawing his greatsword and looking to where Garmack is pointing.

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

Most games tend to go down to a regular pace after a bit. It's like the honeymoon phase of a new relationship.

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

"Keep the fire burning low. We're in our territory but there are still enemies about." Olrune drops the last bear trap, then goes around to make sure everybody knows where they are. "If I wake up to one of you screaming cus you lost a foot when you were taking a piss I won't have any sympathy for you."

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

Olrune holds a bowl with the food in one hand, sipping it while he takes out some bear traps and begins scattering them around the camp. His footsteps are punctuated by the sound of steel unclasping, then dropping to the ground. As he passes Odak he looks at him curiously, then bangs on his armor. "You alive in there?"

Putting four bear traps around the camp, evenly spaced. I'll make sure all the party members know where they are.

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

"You mean when you were hunting them?" Olrune chuckles, then sets to making up camp. "Let's get to bed early and attack before the sun rises. Use the darkness to our advantage. I'll take first watch."

Male Half-Orc Cleric 2/Fighter 1

Olrune gets up in Dergosh's face. "Humans are powerful in numbers, and tend to be more organized; don't underestimate them. We're all going." It wasn't a suggestion.

"Let's get mounted up! Ride in arrowhead formation, fighters at the front, casters on the wings. When we catch up to Odak he will be the point that will break our enemies!" Olrune gives a war cry, then leads the others out the door.
