The day after you wake up from your 7 day nap she drops in and takes your sending stone, giving you a new one. Telling you, "Okay there is two functions. You can use sending three times per day. Just say the council members name first we all have one now. If you press the red button it will create a portal between whoever you spoke with last. This function only has one use, then I would need to make a new one. Or transcribe it back upon the stone. I am working on having a few backups but those are going to need weeks if not months. If you find any magical crafters out on your journey tell them they are needed in Khorvian."
As she is pointed to she giggles and reaponds in her luxurious voice, "
once more to assist and serve the people governed by the Council of Blades. As a present member of the Council of Blades, I will continue to serve and protect to the best of my ability."
She quickly does an arcane ritual speaking the words and moving her hands in specific movements. Then Koldur and her have switched places. She takes his hits and is able to still stand.
Landing beside Koldur she states, "I will make sure to get a wand of cure light when I am back in town. You should all invest in belts of healing. Beorn if you guys want me to stick with you, once I have a few wands I will focus on healing. If Rognar wants to join the group again, that will be covered."
Round 1
Flying and hovering 40 feet away from the ledge she prepares to release a spell. She is taking init of 1. She release a glob of acid at the creature.
She takes a moment to ponder the question. She then states, "We have the crate of alchemist fire and I have one fireball remaining. Then I will be out of fire damage spells."
"Good to know Flouncy. Let's go collect some wood." She says as she flies to the top of the hill going for the trees and begins hacking at them with an axe. She pulls out several MC Battle Axes for others to use should they want one.
She theorizes hovering above the group, "Shall we collect some wood and make a fire within their compound to smoke them out, they are afraid of fire? Then we can go in invisible, Flouncy how many more do you have prepared, I have one prepared."
With encouragement she makes some arcane motions with her hands and then states some arcane words, "Flamish Scaldis! I will bring the fireball when there are more of them near each other." With that done she shoots two red rays at the troll on the top of the hill.
She seems almost too happy to be in action again, "That sounds good, since landing on that narrow walkway would be hazardous. Shall I bring the thunder?"
She offers graciously, "I brought some supplies that should help fight trolls. Though my own spells may be more effective if you would have me?" She does hand Koldur a chest. Opening it up you see it is cushioned and sectioned off inside, revealing 10 bottles of alchemist fire, 10 bottles of acid, and 20 potions of cure light. She offers Beorn a quiver, saying, "Either way these arrows should help, they are acidic. There is such a back order onagical items that those wont be ready for a few weeks. I am lookimg into s3nding someone to recruit more magic item crafters. I fear I will need to go be the recruiter."
"Hundor is not here, he is in his lands still settling in as a lord. Where... no... Koldur you must have the corpse in your portable hole. Would you open it so I can take a look?" She offers.
She takes off her belt and a bag at her side and then walks into the portable room. Then she walks back out and collects her items, saying, "Yeah it is dead. It is missing its horn. Though I don't know much about nature, fey, and such. A cleric would likely be best to help you out." She then looks at Rognar with an analyzing look.
The large portrait shifts and out steps Olivira, as if from the portrait itself. The portrait is just missing the image of the beautiful woman. With a sweet voice she says, "Greetings my fellow adventurers. Do you come for some rest or..." She leaves it off at that word and looks amongst your group.
"If you would like to rest, merely step into your personal portrait and you will be delivered to your personal room. Any accommodations are available just ask." She relays quickly seeing that more explanation was wanted.
Olivia waves to Rognar and states, "Your welcome, we like to be helpful when we can." At Beorn's question to the Dryad she moves her hand to the bag that is over her shoulder. She pulls out two bottles, likely of wine from the bag. She offers, "I have wine and something even stronger than that if you wish?"
"Koldur wanted a way to communicate with the council. We brought some sending stones, two pair. The other ones are in my possession and the other is with Johanna. Koldur should hold onto one of them, suggestions on who else should hold one?" She simply says as if it should all make sense.
She answers Beorn as Sable is busy with making firewood, her sensuous voice gliding smoothly to your ears almost like a spell. "We came from Koldur's summons. Flying in your direction and at the sight of your group engaged with the trees, I threw Sable using my Comet ability."
She flies over to the site of the last scythe trees demise. She asks, "Koldur what was that you were barking earlier, I really only heard my name. Sable I will let you finish dealing with this kindling."
She then begins to sensuously walk back to the meadow.
Her appearance is that of a tempting succubus. Raven black hair spilling over two massive horns and a massive mane behind. Glowing golden eyes, stark white teeth in comparison to her dark ruby glistening lips. A glittering diamond on her forehead and a necklace of bones and black leather. A red dress leaving little imagination to the viewer of all her deadly curves. Pert and ample breasts nearly ready to be free from the lack of clothing covering them. The rest of the dress covers her front and back, leaving cuts along the side to let her athletic legs be viewed easily. Large black feathered wings fold back into a resting position. Her hands are delicate with clean fingernails. On her head is a strange metallic hat of sorts made of flat strips of metal some six inches long with strange runes upon them, they almost seem to suspend in the air around her face as if ioun stones without the rotation.
Accepting the rage, She unfurls her wings and makes a guided jump with them. She lands between the zombie and the green dot. Then she strikes out with her dagger.
"I would suggest not becoming their allies, they are evil creatures that feed on humanoid flesh as a delicacy." She announces. "Taking in the outcasts is one thing but to fully be allies would be asking the cat to come into the canary cage."
"Yes Sable!" She says in response to Sable's command and quickly gets up and leaves the room.
"Rognar it will be good to have you with us next time. Until that time the contract is closed. We will need to gather materials for our next infusion. Seraphina had a suggestion with using her bloodline as a focus. We likely will need the blood of a living dragon and parts from another. Unless the contracted wanted to collect for another purpose?" She offers civilly sampling from the feast not needing to eat but obviously enjoying the taste.
She nods to Hundor, entering the room. She produces the marble figurine and casts it to the wall. There it enlarges and she waits for Sable to enter first and then looking at the others she will follow. Leaving the portal open.
Before the ritual she asks Rognar, "What would your god say? If you are not sure perhaps you should ask him or her. Though knowing your god how would he or she feel about such a magical ritual?"
"You are correct Seraphina, the contracted create a loop through which power circulates and becomes concentrated or multiplied. I am not sure if one is a better word than the other and it could be both. We have not invested much into the Contract yet. If I was not part of the Contract other outsiders would likely try to take hold of the contract by possession or worse. Any outsider or magical being would be drawn to an empty contract. It is no longer empty as we use it. Yes we could do connect to your draconic bloodline. We would need to do some research and collect the appropriate materials to make it happen." He tries to explain, you can tell she even doesn't have all the answers.
Those are side pacts that you could make with Olivira. Either a minor one or a major one. Though it takes a day to make the pact.
Rognar you really need to make a link to your god, Halcamora. It is hard to find him/her.
She nods with a smile at Ingvarr's excitement. "The law that I follow is the rule of this kingdom. That it is good or evil is dependent on the rulers. So far it is good from what I have seen. As they are my saviors and defenders I support them fully!"
She happily states, "Of course we can work together Seraphina. Like it has been said, we would need a restoration spell to restore the drain for all of us."
Then she turns off the attack mode and with a flourish of her wings is back to the image you know much better. She explains, "I can change my shape. I can alter my image. I first took an image close to this because I thought that is what was pleasing to my saviors. It has been, though I have down played it to not be a tempting succubus as it practically was originally. Let me show you."
Images for sake of walls of text.:
Her appearance is that of a tempting succubus. Raven black hair spilling over two massive horns and a massive mane behind. Glowing red eyes, stark white teeth in comparison to her dark ruby glistening lips. A glittering diamond on her forehead and a necklace of bones and black leather. A red dress leaving little imagination to the viewer of all her deadly curves. Pert and amble breasts nearly ready to be free from the lack of clothing covering them. The rest of the dress covers her front and back, leaving cuts along the side to let her athletic legs be viewed easily. On her head is a strange metallic hat of sorts made of flat strips of metal some six inches long with strange runes upon them, they almost seem to suspend in the air around her face as if ioun stones without the rotation.
Then she shakes again to her image now:
Raven black hair spilling over two massive horns and a massive mane behind. Her eyes turn back to a natural color of gray, stark white teeth in comparison to her dark ruby glistening lips. A glittering diamond on her forehead and a necklace of bones and black leather. Her red dress is quickly shaped into a black outfit with leather straps and a backpack. You can still see her curves but they are toned down with less confining clothing. Her black feathered wings lift and then descend to hide mostly behind her. her hands are delicate with clean fingernails. On her head is a strange metallic hat of sorts made of flat strips of metal some six inches long with strange runes upon them, they almost seem to suspend in the air around her face as if ioun stones without the rotation.
My own Abilities, Pacts, and the Contract:
[b]"One of my unique pact spells allows a subject to offer up one of their ability scores to help you in that ability score, though their capabilities are severely limited then, I would take care of them for you here, should you ever find such a willing subject.
With my regained powers, knowledge, and know how I should be able to have eight at the most and then myself included. So Jevar, Koldur, Sable, and you have five more spots though they not need be filled right now. We could increase an ability score, allow the group be invisible for a time each day, harden your skin to not take blows so hard, temper your bodies to be more tolerant to a specific energy, the list is nearly endless but we need to pick one thing and then get the material components for the spell.
Hudor the halfling will gain in spades what those gain simply as a boost. If you chose to increase the strength of those in the blood pact. Each would increase by 2 in strength but the halfling would gain at least 4. Or if you chose to use damage reduction, each in the blood pact would gain 1/magic as he would likely have 3/magic. Does that help? He and you gain those abilities. If you include me in the pact I can strengthen it. Each gaining DR 3/magic as the halfling gains DR 5/magic.
I can offer to strengthen your other abilities.
I can create magical devices though I will need the raw materials and something more to pay for my service.
A bit of history: You might be asking, why did I land here? That would be a good question, Hundor holds a cleared contract, one that many outsiders would kill to possess. Of course killing him would do little to the contract or himself, though there are the dull demons that would simply strike out hoping to gain it. I have been looking for a beacon of power to aim towards and once his contract was cleared my spell moved me right to your vicinity. I see that there is a blood pact between him and several of you but that merely locked him to this plane and to you. There still needs to be a contract made and one with a being of power, an outsider would be most beneficial. He does not have the will power to make decisions concerning it but those who have the blood pact with him by proxy or proximity do. As you can now tell why I chose you as my protectors.
What am I: to put it crudely I am a lawful succubus focused on power, contracts, and magic. I mean you no ill will, in fact as you gain power I will as well.
She offers a few pacts she can do right now with her intoxicating smile, "If you choose to take me up on a pact your options right now are:
A minor pact, gain an increase in one ability by 1 of the loss of another by 3,
A major pact, gain an increase in one ability by 3 of the loss of another by 6, and
finally become an official agent of mine, bear my mark, connect your destiny with my own, I will drain you so later you may grow stronger. Sable and Jevar T'Soryn, have become my agents, though the mark will not display until they accept it fully. Sadly due to the magic of the Contract Hundor cannot become one of my agents."
"You may wonder what is an Inevitable. Inevitables are construct-like outsiders built by the Axiomites to enforce law. Whereas sometimes Axiomites fall from time and space to hopefully be reborn from death. Those beings typically die as they fall upon a land with no one willing or able to give to them. I was one of the lucky few a Shalentess. Using the technology of the Axiomites, I have merged my soul to that technology. Thus I present my true form that I have finally been able to perfect." She informs and then is covered in a bright light. Emerging as a creature resembling a flawless, perfect example of an elf. Then you see the gears... Golden, clockwork wings sprout from its back. She smiles and offers, "Then there is my attack mode..." Her hands seperate and move back to support her wrists as five feet of barbed chain extends to the ground. Each with a sharp hook at the end. At the same time her feet shift showing off gears and three sharp talons dig into the ground. Her wings even shift to have slicing feathers at the end of the golden wings.
His new book that he got from the mountain floats from Hundor to Olivira. She claims it and slices her palm with one of her nails. The blood lands on the lock and it pops open. The blood continues to slowly drop. "I Olivira, Inevitable, Shalentess, Lawful Outsider, am the holder of rituals and archivist of the Contract of Blood. Your questions will be recorded and I hope you all shall join us. Sable Soren Blademaster, Koldur of the Axe, Olivira of the Scroll, and Hundor Contract Wielder offer you to join us in a blood pact to grow stronger. You may think this is evil that we use blood but it is merely what binds us. It is magic that makes us stronger and the blood is what truly connects us. It is fine if you wish to have nothing to do with this but we are offering after such wonderful act of sacrifice that this is the time to cherish that and give you this offer. We shall do our best to tell you what we know and any omissions shall be fixed. The first of these omissions that only a few of you know, I am not a mortal, an outsider that some of you have willing given to so that I may survive."
