Just wanted to throw this little gem out here: Thematic Channeling (from the free Wayfinder magazine, issue #2)
Erastil

I shall post something soon that is more than just rolls. That huge eaten post really killed my motivation :/ Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11
Survival: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
+1 to the survival rolls if they are somehow related to providing food or sheltering allies from bad weather ;)

Copied the proposed groups for convieniece: Mattrim
Aleria
Did I get that right? I'd keep Cuddles, Anton and Mattrim together for Bromance reasons, and Mattrim/Duska apart just to be sure. Natasha could go anywhere, and Aleria/Ra'hl is to amusing not to put in one group.
This Time she would definitly go with Aleria to the shrine because of religion, but in the future we could go with the above as standard procedure. And Duska seemed interested as well. Scouting out the river crossing sounds like the most pressing need right now, so I second that as the other group's destination.

Aleria:
"As I said before, we were surveying the land and found the stag kings fort. My companion Lucius, a Paladin of Dammerich was very eager to strike quickly and we decided to follow along.
It was a mistake not to scout the location out beforehand. Even though we managed a stealthy infiltration, in the end we were seen and the fort turned into a death trap. Lucius and Ako died by the Stag King's weapons, and I was struck down from behind, falling unconcious onto their bodies. Erastil must have watched over me, as they took me for dead and threw the bodies into a hole in their cellar - for what purpose I cannot fathom. And while the others escaped with their lives, their morale was shattered so that they chose to break from my service afterwards. I managed to steal a horse while the bandits celebrated the slaughter." Natasha speaks fast, faster than usual - as she feared stopping the flow of words would make it impossible to continue. "I never truly knew Ako, he joined our group out of hope to find acceptance. He was a thief before and followed me on my search for viable persons before we embarked into the Stolen Lands. He was a nondescript young man of Tian descent. But he was not human, I learned that once I awoke in that damned cellar.
"Lucius was a hard man, following a path of death in the name of justice. I did not like how he so swiftly judged men unworthy to live, but it seemed the right path to peace. Now I think there may be other ways." As a trip through the wilderness could well turn out quite dangerous, Natasha suggests that some should accompany Jhod to the shrine. She volunteers and also points out that Aleria could use the opportunity to commune with Erastil, to bless the group's expeditions in the near future.

Seeing Aleria head off from the scene, Natasha nods once again towards Kesten and Osk, then follows the woman outside.
"Now that we have dealt with this matter for the time being, I had hoped that you could ... help me ease my mind. You said to talk to you later, to hold a proper funeral." her face turned grim once again at the thought.

Natasha nods approvingly. "You are right Osk. We should put the take the two into custody for now and continue this discussion tomorrow after all have had a chance to cool down." She walks towards Oleg. "Oleg, good man, do you have a room we could use as a temporary holding cell for our two guests, until we have sorted out this issue?"
female Changeling Cavalier 2 (Daring Champion) / Bard 1 (Arcane Duelist)
Natasha has watched the discussion with interest, and a smile formed on her lips. "I am glad to have you two at my side. One sees the big picture, the community, the people. What could be, what might be if not cut short. The other so full of ideals and noble thoughts, full of honor, wanting justice swift and clean. If alone, I might have followed cold logic learned on the battlefield. Cold logic that could be seen as heartless. That had more in common with our enemy than I would like to admit." She stops and regards the two men whose fate would be decided soon, then returns her gaze to the group."I do not wish to kill them if possible. They could be valueable if persuaded, and I have enough blood on my hands already. Enough bandit heads rolled at my command."

Natasha eyes the man with interest.
It is unpleasant to watch mayhap, but I do prefer such tactics to a fast ticket to the gallows. Watch the boy Ra'hl. He told us much of value in fear for his life and we could see he was nothing but a pup who lost his way. Could we have spared him what you call 'savage'? Yes. But he would most likely face the gods soon."
female Changeling Cavalier 2 (Daring Champion) / Bard 1 (Arcane Duelist)
"Oh I do not trust him. But I am willing to let him earn it. His unwillingness for action might well come from fear, but in us he could see a way to do something about it. He is weary and wants to live in peace I think. This could well look like a better way to earn it to him."
female Changeling Cavalier 2 (Daring Champion) / Bard 1 (Arcane Duelist)
Natasha looks worried. "While this might work, it would be a very dangerous venture and I worry it could result in more casualties. This should not be our first plan of action, but it might serve well if other options seem undesireable."
And while the half-elfen girl before her seems quite eager to prove her mettle, others died a bloody death in such pursuit not long ago.

Natasha pulls out her sword from the ground and sheates it again, giving Jarek a questioning look before she turns away.
"Yes it is a good idea to take a moment to cool down. It is not wise to show such differences before these men.

My amusement does not stop :D The good thing is, he has a magical skirt already, just needs to choose from the many cuts fashionable this season, and vóila.

How is it that your suffering brings me so much delight? Maybe it was Aleria's called shot from before that predicted this turn of events. Maybe I'm just having way too much fun with my home campaign (Way of the Wicked).

So how bout you cut your post in two - putting all content after the spoiler tag into a new post after mine? That way it will mostly make sense ;) And once we fight, the end result will be one for the books. PS: and Jarek's choice will be quite the meaningful one if he picks my offer!

The situation escalated quickly. Natasha expected this to get ugly, but what she did not expect was to have her failure rubbed into the face by one of these filthy bandits. Rage was building in her once again when she heard Jarek's words - but she also heard despair and weariness. She moved fast when Cuddles's iron grip came down on the man suddenly in all the confusion. "Right to the core of the matter, Cuddles." she says dryly with a thin smile on her lips, but anger still in her eyes. She raises one clawed hand to signal Ra'hl and Duska to stop, then looks into Ra'hls eyes with a burning intesity that might well rival his own. "Jarek, I harbor deep hate toward this man. He felled two of my friends while I could do naught but watch. I survived by a mere miracle that night as a blade hit my back, just to awake bathed in blood and lying on their still warm corpses in some cursed basement."
"You saw his might and his madness, you understand he is nothing but a plague for this forest. I am here in the name of law and foreign nobility, but it will not be in that name that the stag lord's blood will be spilled.
She thrusts her sword in the ground, right besides Aleria'a arrow. "You are weary of this life and even see death as a way to end wasting away in his name. You said you prefered life by the sword, so why not draw it to bring justice?" Her gaze has shifted, retaining the intensity, but replacing anger with passion.
"Join us to end his reign."

Let's not talk about this roll ;) "Oh you don't have to worry about that. We will bring him to the blade and see justice served." Natasha stands up with these words, calling her tcompanions to her side some distance away. "So how do we proceed? This man seems unfazed by the prospect of death. He might still have useful intel, but I fear he would not give it lightly. Has seen too much for fear to be enough to loosen his tongue." She doesn't seem happy to utter these words.

Natasha stands up, slowly walking towards the freshly healed man.
She kneels besides him, a thin smile on her lips.

For now satisfied, Natasha sits down with a mug filled with water and watches the scene calmly. The "bandits" may be young and foolish, but at least a bit useful.
female Changeling Cavalier 2 (Daring Champion) / Bard 1 (Arcane Duelist)
Natasha looks a bit pleased. "So, tell me what your boss was up to the last few months. I was part of a failed attack at his fort back then." Her arms crossed before her, she tense up with these words, until her claws dig lightly into her arms through the gaps in her chain shirt. She is slightly startled from this, straightening her arms again and continuing.

After the group has had time to calm their nerves a bit after this surpriseing encounter, Natasha walks towards the concious bandit - having him wait for the whole time in a corner. "What was your purpose here? Best you tell us everything before we make you." She draws her sword and starts sharpening it before the man's eyes. Intimidate: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20
