Lionel Deschamps. Head Editor to the Durendale Daily, and longest active employee. Over the course of three centuries, Lionel would come to run the operation, and played key roles in extending the reach of the paper and its ability to deliver a weekly paper to most of the country. While he seldom writes anymore, every year or so a tale will interest his research and will warrant his return to the paper. He is married, and has been faithful to both his wife and the paper for over 250 years.
DC25:
Lionel has been responsible for writing papers which have both started and ended careers. Within one day of the Crater Incident one year ago, he managed to acquire hundreds of testimony, and produced a heart-wrenching multi-page piece which some believe to have been pivotal in changing the country to accepting the regulation of certain magic. His name is tossed around at times during Council election seasons, but he insists he would never concern himself with politics.
