Thanks, it is the "think" that I am hoping to still eliminate. It does seem impractical to assign an appropriate chronicle to a new character build to buy the boon, and then the character would already be skipping 1st level play, because the chronicles for AP's are worth 12 XP.

I want to create a new character with a Shooney ancestry. Two options exist, 1) 160 ACP, or 2) 80 (discounted) "Only available if you have played at least one volume of the Extinction Curse AP. One-time purchase."

I have GM'd and recorded three volumes of this adventure path, but when I went to purchase the discounted, I get the following message:
"That character does not meet the requirements for that boon."

So this leads to a couple questions.
1) Does the character I select when purchasing the boon, have to be the character to which the boon is applied?
2) Does the message above mean that the chronicle for the volume played, needs to be assigned to the purchasing character?
3) Are achievement points are assigned to a player or a character?
4) Are prerequisites assigned to players or characters?
