Choose a type of boon. For the Rest of the Adventure Path, when you rebuild your deck, keep an additional boon of that type. Each scenario, before drawing your hand, search your deck and set aside 1 boon of the type until the end of the scenario.
So is the idea of this is you basically have a 1 card side board that you can swap in or out depending on the scenario?
Have people actually been using this and can you share examples of the kind of cards you think would be worth using in the side board? I am scratching my head to work out how to use this.
Hi Guys
I am looking to challenge myself for one of the Convention TTS tables and thought I would try a character that I couldn’t see obvious builds for - Sajan (Core)
As I see it, he has many different paths e.g. Focus on Strength, Smash pack and Role = Exiled P for lots of big iron goodness
Or
Focus on dex, max handsize and use the built in combat power and blessing powers for Monsters, Role = Irori
I have never played a Sajan or seen one in play and would love to get people’s thoughts, play feedback or build suggestions
I have two issues to solve
1 Decide general build path
2 Pick 3 packs that allow for that build path
Love to hear feedback!
Thanks
Edit:
After some more research, I am thinking
Dex focus
Role = Irori
Packs =
P3: Occult (Utility items, Quarterstaff of Vaulting)
P1: Finesse (Acrobatics weapons, Irori Blessings)
P2: Alchemical (One shot utility items, Irori blessings)

Hi All
Question came up at one of my PbP tables about whether the Entice Spell is playable in a Siege Deck scenario
My interpretation is that defensive stance means that when I encounter a card from the Seige deck it is as if I encountered the card at my current location (and all the at this location effects apply) and so Entice should also be playable
My thinking is the Entice limitation ...from a location deck is there to stop you playing the card against summons, however leave it playable against normal Banes.
My search-fu is weak and I haven't been able to find an answer
Anyone able to provide guidence one way or the other?
Thanks!

When you encounter a non-villain, non-henchman monster from a location deck, bury this card to defeat the monster. Then draw an ally from the box and put it on top of your location deck.
Defensive Stance wrote:
When you would explore, instead encounter the top card of the siege deck as if it were the top card of your location deck. After the encounter, unless it is defeated or displayed, shuffle it back into the siege deck.
When you would examine cards in a location deck, you may examine them in the siege deck instead.
When you are dealt damage, if the damage is not reduced to 0, banish the top card of your location deck and each unoccupied location deck; when a location deck has no cards, that location closes automatically.
Is anyone else able to buy tickets?
I just tried to buy my Paizocon 2020 tickets from [url=https://paizo.com/paizocon]https://paizo.com/paizocon[url].
When I click the add to cart for a ticket, nothing happens. I check my cart and nothing is showing :-(
I have tried using Firefox and Edge, same problems
Any bright ideas on how to get a ticket?
Thanks!

Hi
Hit a minor confusion in our Dragons Demand game last night and am looking for some clarity.
The Repository location when closing says
Repository wrote: WHEN CLOSED
Recharge 1d4 boons.
My player thought that meant she would recharge 1d4 cards from her discard pile into her deck. {Positive effect}
I thought that meant she had to recharge 1d4 cards from her hand pile into her deck. {Negative effect}
I was basing that on the following from the rulebook:
Core Rulebook pg 7 wrote: Recharge: Put it facedown at the bottom of your deck Core Rulebook pg 7 wrote: If you are instructed to play, reveal, display, reload, discard, recharge,
bury, banish, or otherwise manipulate a card, that card must come from
your hand unless you are activating a power on a displayed card, in
which case you activate it with the displayed card instead.
Questions:
1. Is that how you would rule this?
2. If not, can you let me know why?
Many thanks!
Hi All
Critical Fail on Search Fuu roll :-(
I am going to play Raheli in the upcoming online Special
I know I have read a conversion post about the Witch Cohorts changing to add a token instead of put on top of deck for their main powers so the Witch still has proficiency at the Recovery step...
However after much searching, I can't find the post
After spending a bunch of time, and searching for as many key words as I can think of, I can't find the post :-(
Can someone link me to the post
Much Appreciated!!

Hi All
I am playing in a Season of the Plundered Tombs online table
We are about to convert to Core rules as a Trial
We are starting scenario 3-3A: HIDDEN IN THE STACKS
Society Guide 6.0 Conversion rules tell the Box Runner to remove all
Basic & Elite cards
The most used trader in both Season 3 & 4 is the Sunburst market which allows the player to choose 1 basic card.
How do these two points interact?
A: The build the vault applies only for the cards in the adventure, so Sunburst market works normally
or
B: The build the vault applies before the traders, so no basic cards and the Sunburst market has only Blessing of Elements and Blessing of Ancients available?
I know RAW the answer is B, however I am hoping the powers that be will rule A
PACS Guide v6.0 pg 8 wrote:
Build the Vault
In earlier seasons, ... start by adding all of
the cards from the listed products to the vault, then remove
all Basic and Elite non-blessing cards whose level is at least
three lower than the # of the adventure. For example, if you’re
setting up a scenario in adventure 5, you’ll remove all Basic
and Elite cards (other than blessings) of levels 0 (that is, B, P,
and C), 1, and 2.
Sunburst Market wrote:
When you draw cards from the box to display on Sunburst Market, instead of the usual method, each character that is visiting Sunburst Market chooses a non-loot that has the Basic trait. Cost: 1 boon.

So I am at PaizoCon and played Fangwood Thieves, under the new rules, however everyone at the table was using class decks as per normal society play.
The key issue is the limit of only one card per type per check across the table rather than per player with you hand being old cards caused huge game play issues as a majority of the cards in hand were now dead on other players turns and we couldn't support well.
Contrasting this with 3 scenarios of The Dragons Demand I played in the evening with new characters with decks of new cards.
These games were much more enjoyable than the class deck games.
A lot of the new versions of old cards had support clauses now
I am going to be handing in my mixed table tickets to play more Dragons Demand over the weekend instead.
What I am to raise:
In my view the play experience of character decks of old cards using new rules will be a serious negative experience for players and will see a large drop off in Organized Play
I box run society play in two stores and I can't see them continuing with the class deck play under the new rules
What needs to be done:
Assuming the current date for switching to new rules
Either massive errata on class deck cards e.g. your class deck has Blast Stone, use the new wording for blast stone
or We play society play under old rules until New class decks are released
Society play has been 99% of my PACG play for the last two years and I want it to continue to grow and expand, however based of my experiences I will be withdrawing from society play if this issue isn't solved
I got allocated in to Two and Three but not One.
If you are in One and don't want it, please let me know!
Would love to be able to do all three

Hi Guys
I had a great time playing PFAG AT paizoCon 2018 in Seattle and looking to be back this year
Are there any other good conventions with lots of PFACG play?
Looking to schedule my physical game fixes for this year
Recommendations appreciated
Ultimate Equipment
Double Chicken Saber +1
Weapon 1
Sword~Melee~Piercing~Finesse~Elite
Hi
The above card does not have the Magic trait however it is a +1 weapon.
Can we have an FAQ that this is a misprint and it should have Magic as a trait
Also as raised here Acrobatic weapons enquiry, should it have Acrobatics in the Acquire Check
Thanks!
Hi All
I am playing a few solo sessions of PFACG Seasons of Factions Favor to get my character to tier 2 for the Jan online RetCon
Under Organized Play
I have created an Event and then select Report
I can then add the Date, select the Scenario and the form refreshes to allow me to enter Character ID, rewards etc
I then pressed Save and Exit
I did not receive any error messages
Thinking that this should now show up as a reported session against the character
I did this twice using two different characters
Neither is showing any reported sessions :-(
What am I missing?
Is there a delay / QA step before the sessions show against the character?
Are their some key fields needed on the event before I can report?
Appreciate any assistance!
Hi Guys
My first time going to PaizoCon 2018.
I have managed to book a full weekend of PFACG :-)
I have booked a couple of slots on saturday morning as Tornament, however I am wondering how the team requirement goes if you don't have one
Opt 1 - Find a group before hand as you must be in a team of 4 to play
Opt 2 - Rock up, you will be formed into groups at the time
Opt 3 - Something else
If option one, a bit of a sales blurb.
I am a mature gamer, have played all three adventure paths and the app. Been playing since the game first came out.
I feel very comfortable with the rules and strategy.
If the characters are pregens, I am happy to take last choice and go with what the team needs ahead of my personal preferences.
If the team makes it through I am happy to reschedule anything but the 3 Greenskins sessions to attend a team event. (Managed to get in all 3 and won't miss any of them for anything!)
PFACG is my gaming passion.
Look forward to seeing folks at PaizoCon
Chris
Hi All
First time PaizoCon goer.
I have managed to construct a good schedule for myself for Friday, Saturday and Monday
I have a big gap between Midday Sunday and 7pm Sunday and can't see a lot scheduled that interests me (Pathfinder Adventure Card Game or Pathfinder)
Is there pick up games or similar or should I resign myself to seminars etc I am not interested in?
Appreciate any Wisdom+1
Thanks
Chris
Hi All
I have just started playing Organised Play with Adventure 2B-1: We Be Goblins!.
Adventure 1 - We Be Goblins has a reward
Quote: You may add up to 2 of the following promo cards to your Goblins Burn! deck and up to 2 others to your Goblins Fight! Deck. Weapons: Goblin Pegleg, Horsechopper +1; spells: Fire Sneeze, Vomit Twin; armors: Goblin
Plate +1, Goblin Buckler Gun, Sweet Dragon Costume; items: Goblin lockpick, Goblin Skull Bomb; allies: Chuffy Lickwound, Mogmurch, Poog of Zarongel, Reta Bigbad; blessings: Blessing of Zarongel, Blessing of Zogmugot.
Question:
Does this apply to standard class deck characters i.e. I am playing Raheli from the Witch deck. If we successfully complete Adventure 1 - We Be Goblins, can I any promos to my deck box?
I know rules as written, the answer would be NO as it specifically says Goblins Fight Deck and Goblins Burn Deck. Has there been any FAQ / rulings that extend it to other class decks?
Many thanks!
Chris
Hi
I am looking to build a new PFS legal Cleric
I want to take Wadjet as a diety, which I understand is legal for play.
My investigation suggests that I need to own an adventure:
Pathfinder Adventure Path #80: Empty Graves (Mummy’s Mask 2 of 6)
As a player I am not keen on having to buy an adventure to get a part of character creation :(
Question:
Do I need to own the above book to have Wadjet as a god?
If not, what ruling / consolidation is it allowed under?
Many thanks!
Kiwi Chris

Hi All
I have just started playing Pathfinder Society and am looking at building a Lawful Good Herald Caller Cleric worshiping a LG Deity.
I understand the limitations of Sacred Summons
My difficulty is trying to work out what I can call under Summon Monster due to the limitations from the Herald Caller Divine Heralds ability
Divine Heralds wrote: A herald caller can use summon monster spells only to summon creatures particularly appropriate to her deity. This includes all creatures listed as summon monster options for priests of her deity (see Expanded Summoning for Clerics), creatures whose alignment matches at least one aspect of her deity’s alignment, and creatures of an elemental subtype that matches a domain granted by the deity (if any). When summoning a creature that is normally summoned with the celestial or fiendish template, a herald caller of a chaotic deity can instead summon it with the entropic template, and a herald caller of a lawful deity can instead summon it with the resolute template. Summon Monster wrote: ...Creatures marked with an “*” always have an alignment that matches yours, regardless of their usual alignment. Question:
Can a Herald Caller Cleric of a LG Deity summon the * monsters from the Summon Monster list (which by default are Neutral?
Appreciate any wisdom on this one
Many thanks
