Sorry to hear that we're ending, for now at least, but I'm glad she is doing better now. We're always here if you need a distraction.

Morrigyn leaned forward and placed her forearms on the counter making her backside stick out and slightly up. It was an enticing pose and one meant to attract the eye of anyone with an interest in the female form. "Maybe he had to run into town for it. You know Filippo isn't in very good shape. She wriggled her rear slightly, "He has no stamina."

Morrigyn gave her companion an amused smile, "Then it depends on just what one means by getting nailed." Her look was arch and suggestive as she glanced at one of the clerks briefly and then the door where the Quartermaster likely was and snorted as she started to giggle.

Morrigyn followed Stefan's thoughts fairly closely as he looked at the serving girls and a sly smile crossed her face. "I think that most of what we might need has been accounted for. Extras are always wise, taht's why I made sure we have extras of those things on our lists." Her tone was a bit snobby as she had thought of something that Stefan hadn't and she laughed in amusement as she said, "Of course getting nailed is always good to have on a list as well."

Morrigyn paid the woman bringing the serving tray little heed as she waited for Stefan to continue and considered Stefan's question about livery and shrugged, "Not that he's told me about. I'll ask him, he probably would like the idea, and he might even reward me for it."

As their conversation turned more towards medicine Morrigyn found herself drawn into the discussion more. "I would consider plenty of anti-toxins and anything to help resist or counter diseases. Plenty of thread for stitching and some very strong bottles of alcohol to use for antiseptic and pain killing. Mostly the usual stuff I guess."

After awhile if the Count hasen't come:
Morrigyn considered Stefan's question carefully. She wasn't sure what to make of them really and finally said, "I'm afraid I didn't learn much as it wasn't too long before Malen arrived." She looked at him in both amusement and annoyance at the thought, "and you know how I get when that happens." In point of fact he'd seen it far too many times. Morrigyn had a tendency to become fixated on Malen anytime he was near unless instructed to perform a particular task by him. It didn't make her oblivious, but it did tend to make her miss things if they weren't important at the time.

Sorry Stefan, for some reason I thought I was waiting on you not the other way around.

Morrigyn gave a sigh as Stefan pointed out the proprieties of the situation and muttered, "Spoilsport." As the topic moved onto what they came here for she said, "Oh, a bit of this and a bit of that. Some extra supplies in case of damage, a few replacements for the crew's kit where things are worn out, and making sure I have enough of the medicinal supplies for treating the injuries that magic isn't needed for."

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 19 ⇒ (4) + 19 = 23
Wow, that was a crappy roll.

Morrigyn considered Stefan's request, she had a bit of a soft spot for him after all, and nodded her acquiescence. Yeah, it's not a problem. Just get it to me as soon as you can."

Malen:
Morrigyn felt herself relax as Malen's grip on her shoulder loosened. It seemed like the worst might be over now as he spoke. She listened in rapt attention as he talked about getting a position as a Military Governor. She had to admit not being at sea and servicing the crew would be nice, not that she was bothered by it since her Master demanded it of her, and she leaned into the hand that pat her head when he called her a pretty pet making a sound not so far off from a cat purring at the idea. "Yes Master," she said, "that sounds wonderful." She saw Malen begin to remove his belt and heard hiswords responding with a pleased, "Always Master," and eagerly awaited what came next.

Stefan:
Stefan's quick grasp of her wrist startled Morrigyn. She hadn't expected the man to be quite so observant. She smiled in response to him as she used his grip to pull herself closer and said, "I don't know either Stefan," she smiled wickedly, "but it might be fun to find out." She listened as Stefan spoke of Massio and groaned a little, she like the man, and not just for his hornpipe. He could play music that turned her normally good dances into great ones."

Morrigyn's smile turned rather sly as she countered saying, "Remember 3rd Lieutenant Elisha Danigan? She's now a 2nd Lieutenant and still with us." She gave the man a rather impish grin as she asked, "Did she ever come back to you after she was given her reward?" She gave the man an arch look knowing the answer was no. Ever since that night she had Elisha fawning over her and the woman hadn't touched a man since, except for one night with her and Malen anyway.

Stefan:
After some time spent organizing the and making sure her lists were complete Morrigyn made her way to the Quartermaster's with the requisition forms all filled out and ready to go. When she walked in she didn't see Stefan at first, focused on her task as she was, and approached the clerk. Giving the woman a nod of greeting Morrigyn said, "I have the requisition forms for the Impeccable." She handed the forms over and turned to leave at the clerk's dismissal and started heading to the door.

As she was about to reach the exit from the building something drew her attention towards the side where Stefan was. Seeing that he man's attention was focused she decided to do something mischievous and began to move quietly up behind him. It was times like this when the somewhat ornery woman she used to be showed herself as she moved in stealthily for some surprise groping.
Stealth: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18
Time to see what happens.

Morrigyn felt Malen's presence on deck like she always did, an unexplainable pull that drew her gaze to him. She caught his nod towards his cabin and went to follow him in seeing the looks the officers gave her as they knew, or suspected, what was going to be going on in there and made to keep the crew busy.

Malen:
Morrigyn entered Malen's cabin and sat in the chair he indicated. She placed her hands on her lap and watched him intently as he began to speak. As he did she felt herself fill with dread, she'd known he was pushing too far too fast but she also knew that she couldn't convince him of that. Instead she had to try to do the best she could to make sure that no leads came back to either of them directly. As she heard just how much the Admiral seemed to know, or claimed he knew, Morrigyn felt herself blanch. She knew that this was going to be bad and that she needed to do what she could to mitigate the harm coming her way.

Morrigyn maintained her gaze on Malen and responded to him, "I think he's bluffing Master. I made sure that no direct evidence would lead to either of us but so many deaths, accidents, and disgraces had to make him suspicious. I don't believe he would have let you leave alive if he had proof of it our involvement Master. He'd see you as too big of a threat to his command and life." She looked at him hopefully as she said, "I think he was trying to rattle you and gauge your reaction."

Malen do you have a list of the ship's officer's names?

Morrigyn walked with Malen in silence as they headed towards the ship. She let him process and plan, he was good at it, and avoided drawing his attention as they went. When he finally did speak to her Morrigyn paid rapt attention to what he said as she always did and when he finished she replied, "I'll get the chief carpenter's report on the state of the ship and any needed maintenance, the cook submit requests for any needs for the larder, and have them both submit reports to me and have them give the quartermaster the needed requisition forms. I'll also have the officers watching the crew and submit lists of any issues they see for you as well." She thought for a moment as they walked, her heals click clacking on the cobblestones and then the boards of the wharf, saying "I'll also go through our medical supplies and fill out the forms needed to replenish them." As they stopped before the plank leading up to the ship she looked at Malen and asked, "Are there any other special stores that you need put in?" She made a mental note of anything he needed special ordered and then accepted his hand as they walked on deck.

As the sailors finally gathered Morrigyn assumed her normal place beside and behind Malen. She had made the change from her normal dress into something a bit more suitable for shipboard. The main change was that she now wore flat soled footwear suitable to being shipboard and had changed her skirt out for a pair of very tight fitting breaches that hugged every curve of her hips, rear, and legs, and had a dagger sheathed at her side. She eyed the crew as her Master spoke and noted a few who looked like they might be trouble, all new crewmen, and made a mental note to have the officers watch them. When the speech was done she felt Malen's hungry gaze on her and looked at him with longing before he turned and left the ship.

With the captain gone she looked back at the crew and Morrigyn said to them all, "Alright I want all of your gear inspected between loading any arriving supplies on the ship, if you have anything you need I have the requisition forms on the outside of the Captain's Cabin. Take them, use them, if you don't and you turn out to be needing something it will be grounds for disciplinary action. Illiteracy is no excuse, you can come to myself or your direct superior for assistance for now, later you will be expected to learn to write for yourself and education will be provided in at least the bare minimum you need to know." She had relaxed her posture somewhat after Malen had left and now seemed to be at ease. "Officers, you've all been through this before and you know what to do, if you need me for anything I will be in my usual place going over the medical supplies." She looked around once more at the gathered crew and nodded in dismissal as she crisply turned and gestured for the Quartermaster to lead her down to his office and get the requisition forms so she could put them where they needed to be.

As the meeting wrapped up Morrigyn began putting away the writing implements and book up. Her movements were crisp and efficient as befitted her training in the officer's academy and then later the medical training, and she was ready just as they were dismissed.

As they left the room she adopted her normal position, behind and to the right of Malen, and walked with him, waiting patiently as he spoke to the receptionist. She wondered what he was thinking of and it didn't take her much effort to realize that it was Stefan. She remembered Stefan rather fondly herself, he was nice to her when she left officer training and entered the medical profession and the "incident" and then later when they all three served under the same captain in Sargova.

Morrigyn didn't realize just how much her thoughts distracted her until she heard Malen snap his fingers at her. She came out of her musings and quickly hurried to him, her face flushing in embarrassment as she respond, "I'm sorry Sir." As they began to leave and Malen expressed his irritation at her she knew that she was in for a rough time later if something didn't change his mood. She resolved to do everything that she could as he tended to be very...rough when he was mad.

She reached out to take his hand when he reached for it and felt a slight wash of relief that she might be able to mollify him. The charming smile he had on his face made her very nervous but she nodded in response to his words and said, "Yes Sir. What would you have me do?" She could tell from his tone that there was likely no mollifying him but she would try her best.

Morrigyn entered the office and stood behind and to the right of Malen as was only proper and eyed the assembled people. She didn't know most of them, at least by name, but several faces were easily recognizable as her former classmates. When the Admiral entered and everyone saluted Morrigyn did not. Given her strange status as a civilian adjunct it wasn't expected of her though she did stand at attention out of respect for the man's position. She noted Malen's look at her and knew he was thinking of relieving his annoyance at the long salute on her later, perhaps even more so because she didn't have to do these same things he did.

As the meeting began Morrigyn pulled a quill and ink out as well as a small book to take notes as the meeting progressed and began to listen intently. Her writing faltered as she heard the admittance that Admiral Thrune had died fighting the pirates. She remembered just how vile those wretches were when they were performing anti-piracy patrols in the past. The fact that two other fleets were ahead of them was disturbing but she found herself agreeing with the Admiral that it could work to their advantage if used properly. She looked up expectantly and waited to hear what came next.

Morrigyn leaned into the hand stroking her hair enjoying the Master's touch as she dressed him and he thought on her question. When his hand lifted from her she wondered what he would do next and quickly found out as he grabbed the choker she wore and twisted it just enough to make breathing an effort but not so much as to choke her with it. She bowed her head slightly in obedience but continued her task as best she could.

Once Malen had his trousers on and gave her his instructions to prepare herself and go with him Morrigyn nodded and said, "Yes Master." After she finished helping Malen dress Morrigyn went about her own preparations while he ate. It took her time, as always, to dress properly, she had to wash her hair, dry it, get dressed, brush her hair out, etc. etc. Given their late rise she was almost too late to get out the door. Fortunately she had this happen before and grabbed a ration she kept stashed away for such occasions, eating as she got ready, and heading out the door just as Malen was about to yell for her. "Ready Master."

-----------------

As they entered the room Morrigyn followed a few steps back and slightly to the right of Malen. She was wearing a dress similar to a Chelish naval officer's uniform but one that fit more snugly, had a tight knee length skirt, and wore a pair of low healed black boots. She held her hands demurely clasped together before her and looked very much the role of a personal attendant who was ready to record notes or fetch coffee should her captain need it done. "Morrigyn, Captain Arturian's assistant." She held out the piece of parchment that had her instructions to report for the secretary to read and then glided after Malen as they entered the room.

Maybe those are your weapons, I prefer seduction, manipulation, and control of life and death.

Morrigyn had slept well when they got home, as she always did in her Master's bed, and mumbled slightly when she felt Malen's hand pat her rear. She shifted in bed, and rubbed her rump against the hand through the sheets. She hoped to go back to sleep, preferably with Malen beside her, but when he spoke and gave her a command her eyes snapped open and she sat up. "Yes Master, I'll have you ready as quickly as possible."

Sliding out from between the sheets Morrigyn's unclothed form became a pleasant sight for Malen as she moved about the room getting his clothing, which she had wisely laid out the night before, and began helping him dress. "Do you wish for me to join you Master or should I finish packing what we will need for a voyage while you receive your orders?"

With Malen's suggestion of trying the wine Morrigyn looked at the barmaid and nodded her head as she pointed at what Malen had. She blinked back tears slightly at the mention of the late Captain Doria. It wasn't that she felt sadness at his loss, more that she knew from his words that Malen expected the behavior and what Malen wanted from her he got. She leaned ever so slightly into his psuedo-consoling touch and accepted the wine that was brought to her, sipping it slowly as she savored the taste.

Where as the story of Captain Doria brought no real emotions to her the story of the Andoran captain did. She wasn't particularly squeamish, but she was a healer, and she was trained to end suffering, not continue it. The whole thing was somewhat traumatic and she shuddered slightly at the memory. When she felt Malen's hand squeeze her thigh Morrigyn stifled a slight moan, she was very sensitive to his touch and this one always pleased her. She let her legs part slightly and leaned a little closer to him as she sipped some more of her wine.

Shaking Melfcane's hand Morrigyn was about to sit when she saw Malen enter. She halted her motion as she watched him approach. She caught his due and, once Malen had sat, took the remaining chair. Now that he was here Morrigyn sat and looked pretty beside Malen, not speaking unless spoken to or given permission.

Morrigyn moaned slightly at the returned kiss and the looked over at Nebdel when it was broken. She curtsied to him and said, "Nice to meet you Lt Melfcane. I serve my Master aboard The Impeccable as Ships Doctor and Morale Officer." She held her hand out to Nebdel to shake if he so chose.

Whoopsie, meant you Steffan, corrected myself.

Morrigyn was on the docks near the Impeccable waiting for Master when she noticed Stefan across the way. She wasn't actually sure where Malen was just now and found herself slightly bored. Since he'd not told her how close she had to be while she waited at the ship she weighed her desire to go speak with her fried against whether she would violate her Master's orders. After a few moments she decided that it wouldn't be a violation and that it would serve his interests to renew old acquaintances while she waited.

She headed to where she saw Stefan speaking with someone she didn't know with obvious intent. She was fairly short at five four but was gorgeously curved and as she moved there was a seductive grace to the swish of her hips. Currently she was in clothing that would barely be described as acceptable in public, a play off of a Khatapeshi harem girl made of light silks that didn't hide much and wearing a pair of high-healed boots that made a tapping sound against the wharf as she walked. The whole thing was unsuitable for a ship but then she had other clothing for once she was embarked. A tinkling of coin like decorations on a chain belt emphasized her movements and when she reached the two she walked up to Stefan and said, "Hi Stefan," in a throaty voice, "it's been awhile." She leaned in to kiss him firmly on the lips but not to touch.

Refuse or not as you wish Stefan.

For those who might wonder where Nines is he has some IRL stuff going on at the moment that has cut into gaming some. He isn't gone and will be back as soon as he can.

Here is Drogeney's character. The image will change once I finish tweaking her description but the crunch and all other fluff is in there.

There is a recent feat for Shelynites called bladed brush, forget all the pre-requisite but it causes a glaive to be treated as a light or one handed slashing weapon for feats and other purposes. It comes from the Paths of the righteous book.

Wow, I didn't realize that Archetype existed Krayn, awesome!

Didn't think about the leadership role before now. I think Morrigyn would go after either Ruler, Councilor, or Grand Diplomat. If there was a Consort to the Ruler role open she'd potentially go for that as well, maybe even preferably.

I would like to submit Morrigyn for consideration. She's a recycled alias so if anyone notices anything off pl;ease let me know. Her backstory does connect with things in one of the middle books somewhat but I promise I don't really know much about those events and I'm good at keeping IC and OoC knowledge separate. She is a crossblooded sorceress who will function as a face character and enchantress with some control capability and greater damage output later on.

Let me know if there are any tweaks that should be made and otherwise everything is in the alias.

Had to tweak the name to create the alias but this is still the same Morrigan.

Just to keep you all up to date, I'm just waiting for one more PC to give me his suggestions, and then we'll have our choices made. Sorry for the wait!

No prob.
