Description:
Morena has shoulder-length auburn hair with slight hints of blonde scattered throughout. Her eyes, the color of an evening campfire with streaks of blue and yellow, mark her as a woman of emberkin blood.

She tends to wear crisp, clean, scholarly clothing that looks out of place in most of the dives she ends up finding herself in. Almost as if she is trying to control the chaos in her blood through how she presents herself to the world.

Background:

Morena Greybrooke grew up an orphan in Kenabres not knowing a thing about her true parents. The girl's foster parents did their best to raise her and even encouraged the Aasimar orphan's natural talents in the arcane. Yet, they had no idea of her Celestial heritage outside of Morena's striking fiery eyes.

For years as a child, Morena would wake up in the middle of the night, sweating. Nightmares haunted her with visions of a future where she used her arcane abilities to murder and maim for power. Not realizing that these dreams were a symptom of her Emberkin blood, she chalked up the nightmares to just being bad dreams.

Despite the silence from her foster parents about her birth parents, Morena continued her own search for the truth finally discovering knowledge that what she thought of as an insignificant birth mark was, instead, an important rune marking the bloodline of a rift warden.

Confronting her foster parents with the truth, Morena then learned that, yes, her parents had both been rift wardens and had disappeared into the Worldwound a few months after her birth. They hadn't mentioned it for fear that their foster daughter would follow after at too young of an age.

Armed with this new knowledge, Morena became obsessed with the idea of following in her parents' footsteps and joining the fourth crusade into the Worldwound.

Personality:
Morena covers up her insecurities about her outsider heritage by dressing conservatively and attempting to act the same way. The problem is, her emberkin heritage won't allow it and Morena is just as likely to suddenly decide to tell the raunchiest joke she knows as she is to sit primly and attempt to hide her outgoing nature.
