Stéphane Le Roux wrote: Then take the first feat of the chain at level 11. It allows you to use your remaining actions after a dim door; in conjunction with spell combat, your remaining action is a full attack: it's a bit weaker than dim dervish, but it does the trick.
Or play a summoner-synthesist instead of a magus; you access to dimdoor at level 7, and access to dim dervish at 11.
Thanks for the feedback. I hadn't really considered how spell combat by itself would let me do most of what I wanted. I guess that's what I get for staring at things for too long.
The synthesist idea also interests me. The only question I have is: does that fact that I'd be using dimension door as a spell-like ability keep me from being able to take the dimensional agility feat? My guess would be that it would work, since the requirement just says that you have to be able to cast Dimension Door, but I can see where some people might view that as a gray area.
I kind of alluded to this in the post title, but then forgot to mention it in the post itself. I'm trying to make this build work for use in Pathfinder Society so level 13 is not an option.
I just received my copy of UC in the mail today, and began working on a plan to add the Dimensional series of feats to my Magus. My idea was to get to level 10 as a Magus (in order to get forth level spells) and then finish off with two levels of fighter using bonus feats to pick up Dimensional Assault and Dimensional Dervish as my level 12 capstone...
However, just as I was patting myself on the back for my ingenuity, I realized that none of the Dimensional feats are Combat feats. So I'm back to square one. I've racked my brain over it, and I'm pretty sure it's impossible for to get Dimensional Dervish by level 12 with a straight up Magus. The best I could come up with is some combination involving 7 levels of wizard.
So does anyone else have any ideas on how to make my spellstriking teleporting dream come to fruition?

You did indeed! Sadly we had to trudge on without you, so that we could get through the adventure. I completely understand. Real life has just gotten in the way a lot lately. Very sorry I wasn't able to see the adventure through to the end.
My character credit can go to 19296-2 Tier 1-2.

Montesquieu will continue inspiring, move 15 feet from the nearest zombie that isn't stopped and attack with his whip.
Attack: 1d20 + 11 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 11 + 2 + 1 = 24
Damage: 1d4 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 4 + 2 = 10
Male Half-Orc Fighter/1
Montesquieu will continue inspiring courage, then move to within 15 feet of the nearest zombie (should be able to get there with the extra movement from haste) and attack it with his scorpion whip.
Attack: 1d20 + 11 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 11 + 2 + 1 = 26
Damage: 1d4 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 4 + 2 = 10
Male Half-Orc Fighter/1
Montesquieu will begin inspire courage as a move action and then cast haste.

For round two Montesquieu will continue inspiring courage, draw his net, and then attempt to demoralize the enemy.
"Wake me up from my sleep?!! I'll skin you alive and use your hide for a rug!"
Intimidate: 1d20 + 25 ⇒ (12) + 25 = 37

Montesquieu will indeed begin inspiring courage, pontificating on other glorious battles that were fought AFTER a full night's rest.

Congrants Aquila you are the bearer of both scrolls!
Yeah... I'll chalk that up to inexperience with playing spellcasters or Cha based characters... or anything that makes it seem not as much my fault.

Ursus the Breaker wrote: I added Monte's wand of CMW and Farouq's Rod of Lesser Extend to the shopping list since there is still a bit of room in the budget. That might change if/when Aquila does any shopping.
I think it's best we buy whatever we can now rather than trying to hold on to cash. There's no reason to believe we're going to be able to do any shopping once we leave the city.
If it looks like we're going to be over budget, we can swap my CMW wand with two scrolls of CSW (as per Daxter's suggestion), in fact I'm thinking that might be a better purchase regardless.
Male Half-Orc Fighter/1
I wouldn't mind picking up a wand of CMW... although I'm pretty sure that would put me over my limit (can't access the spreadsheet to check since I'm at work right now). Any thoughts?

Using my once a day 'take 20' on a knowledge roll for: 20+10=30. Unless of course I already used that today... in which I'll take 10 and ask for some assistance: 10+10=20.

This seems reasonable to me. Unless someone can get some use out of that bow (I can't).

I just realized I made a mistake with the garuda. He was not supposed to be able to do quite as much damage as I thought he could do. The upshot of my mistake, is that I am returning Takuma to life, as he would not have been sent to final death had I realized my mistake earlier.
Takuma is therefore still alive and stabilized in his current location at -2 hp.
Again, my apologies.
I don't suppose this would in any way keep Aquila and I from bleeding out at the moment?
Male Half-Orc Fighter/1
Montesquieu will continue inspire courage... again.
He will then throw a net at the Garuda: 1d20 + 8 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 8 + 2 = 21 vs. touch. and finally use a move action to pick up the wand of CLW that was dropped earlier.

Ursus the Breaker wrote: Assuming he can do the ninja jump up into the office Montesquieu should try his Confusion centered on the bottom right corner of N9. I think that hits all the enemies without clipping Aquila's summons.
This is what Montesquieu is going to try. (also continuing inspire courage)
Climb: 1d20 + 2 - 1 ⇒ (16) + 2 - 1 = 17
Male Half-Orc Fighter/1
So... I'll admit I'm having a hard time following what exactly is going on at the moment. So I have a few quick questions:
From where I am now, can I get into the room Ursus has told everyone contains enemies and still have a standard action left?
Does Ursus have enough HP to come out of Rage without dropping at this point?
One of my thoughts was to get into the other room and cast confusion, although this would only work if the enemies were somewhat clustered with few or no friendlies nearby. Does this seem like a viable option, or would everyone rather I just try to heal (albeit feebly) for the time being?
Sorry for all that, but it's getting a bit overwhelming.
Male Half-Orc Fighter/1
Ursus the Breaker wrote: Also, I don't know if he can do it or not but I moved adjacent to Montesquieu so he could hit me with a heal. I can't even drop out of rage to heal myself right now.
We'll go with that then.
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
I had assumed that I could see the door on the south side of the room. No worries.
Male Half-Orc Fighter/1
Montesquieu will continue Inspire Courage, and will try to move just close enough to throw a net at the serpent creature.
Net: 1d20 + 8 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 8 + 2 + 1 = 18 touch attack.

Trip: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (12) + 16 = 28
2nd attack (full BAB from haste) will attempt to trip the enemy at I11
Trip: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (3) + 16 = 19
3rd attack will attempt to trip enemy at L15
Trip: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (17) + 9 = 26

Male Half-Orc Fighter/1
Montesquieu will continue inspire courage. He will then draw out his wand of silent image and attempt to create an image of Farouq falling over dead. (hopefully masking the actual Farouq from the sight of the workers surrounding him)
The DC to disbelieve the image is 18 Will (only if they interact with it)

hmmm... apparently I've been neglecting this thread for the past few days without realizing it.
GMT Time = ??? (I alternate days and nights in my works schedule along with rotating days and 12 hour shifts... so I'm going to be all over the place on the times I can post)
Intimidate... yeah, that probably wasn't the smartest move, but Montesquieu and I were both getting frustrated with all of those leads apparently drying up, and well... Montesquieu has a short temper : ) He'll generally go the Diplomacy route first, but that guy seemed like a weasel anyway.
Also I'm willing to give the combat idea a try. I suppose that means I'll have to be more vigilant in keeping up with this thread.
