Feral, it looks like you have to choose between your ioun stone at the boots. Which will it be? Also, the books are called "boots of friendly terrain".
I'm definitely getting the Ioun Stone. The boots are if there is cash leftover and everyone is okay with chipping in for them. Farouq's Lesser Extend Rod would also be a good cash pooling expenditure.
Does anyone want to do any more RPing before you leave on the trip?
Not unless you want to RP Ursus's conquests.

Well since the Ulfen has Endurance and an incredible Fortitude save, and the fact that tomorrow may very well be his last...
Ursus will stop somewhere between when he loses count (due to running out of fingers) and when he passes out due to intoxication.

You manage to make it through the night without falling over, but the next morning (and for the rest of the day) the sun does seem to be a little too bright and everyone seems to be yelling at you for some reason!

Listen up all you spellcasters. Daxter (with his godly intelligence) has offered to host everyone's spell list for me in a Google doc. That way I don't have to switch between four different documents to see what everyone has prepared for the day.
Is this something you might be willing to do? (Please say yes!)
If yes, then please email me your memorized spell lists and I will pass them on to the mysterious person who is controlling the wizard.
Many thanks,
Alex

Auke, Ursus doesn't mind sharing his Wand of Shield. That will save us 750 gold.
It looks like we've got ~2600 gold left (3350 if Aquila gives up the second Wand of Shield). It looks like we're assuming Farouq can get his Lesser Extend Rod.
What do we want to get with the rest of the money?
A)
Boots of Friendly Terrain - +2 to Init/Perception/Survival and makes us untrackable in the jungle
Scroll of Restoration (if Aquila gives up the Wand of Shield)
B)
Scroll of Heal
Scroll of Restoration (x2 if Aquila gives up the Wand of Shield)
C)
Something else.

On a different note, since we seem to be on our way, I will roll my false life for my familiar. Also whenever we camp, I will put up an Alarm spell to ward us versus anyone trying to ambush us.

Ursus will work with Bala to try to learn the basics of controlling and steering the elephants.
At night when we set up camp Ursus will hit one of them (whichever is the biggest/strongest) with Wartrain Mount and ask Bala to help him command the elephant to guard the camp.

Alrighty I adjusted the shopping list. I assumed Aquila is going to carry the Scroll of Heal and Monte is carrying the scroll of Restoration. Also, it appears I did my math wrong at one point and we can only get one scroll of Restoration even with Aquila dropping the Wand of Shield.
Edit: Nevermind. The math was right. The spreadsheet's formula was messing up for some reason. We have two scrolls of Restoration.
Monte what's your UMD like? I think you're the only one that can use the Scroll of Restoration.

Well if they want to spend that much effort to do 20+ points of Int damage/drain to me, then they deserve it. That's way more effort than I would put into it. But yes, I would be sad if things got to that point.

Don't worry about it. Not every CHA based character is going to have UMD. It's my fault for assuming, I thought I remembered you UMDing something earlier.

There's something moving in the woods, obviously outside of the Alarm spell, as it hasn't been triggered yet. You and the elephants (and whatever is out there) get to act during the surprise round.

He will have an extended greater magic fang on Adjo and longstrider for himself.

Yes I can give you an extended mage armor for you.
For spells, we need someone who can faerie fire(atleast 2) to deal with all the displacements-buffed creatures running around. Preparing some CMW spells would help as we need some in combat healing. You may want some barkskins for your own benefit. Also Greater Magic Fang helps you as well when you wildshape so you may want to prep another one. Preparing dispel magic like you had last combat would be good as well as restoration, lesser. If Aquila is reading this, it would help if you prepared some of these as well.

Restoration is a 1 minute casting time spell, so I wouldn't bother (and Aquila has it on scroll twice). Faerie fire is a great spell, but allows SR. Dispel Magic isn't as good as it was in 3.5.
Best 4th level spell IMHO is Freedom of Movement.

Lesser, Restoration is worth preparing as it covers some of the things Restoration covers and I don't know if anyone has any scrolls of it.
Faerie Fire is a must. We need a way to do deal with the next Displaced Rakshasa. You guys can beat the SR. Scrolls don't have a chance.
Dispel Magic may not be as effective as it was but it still helps a ton. Removing one buff is better than removing none and I'd rather not have to wait out the next Displacement and/or whatever.
Air Walk is also good.

Aquila has only a 20% chance of going through a rashaksa's spell resistance, Farouq only 15%. IMHO faerie fire isn't the answer to getting rid of displacement if the creature in question has SR.
Both the Garuda and the Rakshasa might still be alive if they had freedom of movement. ;-)

Well not everything has rakshasa level of SR. Most creatures with SR have much more reasonable numbers. And I shouldn't be the only one preparing dispel magics since others can cast it too.
