The drones converge on the beast nearest them.

The Drone next to the beast isn't moving. The other two are charging in to help pack-mob the thing.

The first canine-looking drone rushes in on the opposite side of the one who was already engaged, acting much like the creatures who's form they were imitating.

Then the second one follows suit.

Finally the third, who was already engaged by the creature, moved closer to chomp with it's metal jaws.

1d3 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 Mechanical wolves summoned. Amalgus summons creatures with the Construct template rather than Fiendish of Celestial.

The drones materialized about thirty feet in front of Amalgus and took off at at full sprint to intercept the creatures attacking Leila.

Full run, 200' feet. That puts them 250' forward of Amalgus' original position.

The Amalgus drone leads Bazzle to the sensors.

GM, I think you're going to have to steer us by the nose a little bit. Don't worry about railroading. Just give us an info-dump and fast forward us to a point where we can make informed decisions.
