Can a caster with mass enhancement select a suit of armor and a weapon to both gain an enhancement bonus?

Sure. You are targeting a number of pieces of equipment, not "X weapons" vs. "X armor".

Hope this answer doesn't come too late. If you're active on discord, DDS has a thriving fan discord which you can reach myself and many of the other Spheres authors easier. Spheres Wiki with link

Made a reddit post before deciding to also drop it here link to said post .

A quick tl;dr, I wrote a gestalt 20/20 one shot for focused but non optimized gestalt characters. It uses content from the new Planar Adventures book, including the new CR 30 Leviathan monster.

It's a bit of a labor of love and parting gift for my first Pathfinder group, where I joined midway through Rise of the Runelords and played for a year. We beat the 6th book two weeks ago, and ran my one shot this past Sunday.

A link to the Google Drive folder here.

About this One Shot
This is a level 20 gestalt one shot for non optimized but build focused players. Included in the Google Drive folder are 24 pages of content, which includes 2 pages of an Appendix for First World planar traits and two minor artifacts for the story. There are 4 statblocks for the enemies, not including the Leviathan, as well as images for them to be used or shown to players during games.

The adventurers are responding to a Bounty Board "wanted" job to hunt "The Great Beast" and starts out as a somewhat straightforward Moby Dick ripoff until the adventurers are planeshifted by the Leviathan to the First World, where they need to solve a feud between the Fey Queen and Wolven King of Rosewall and Morning Glory Forest respectively.

Things I Tried to Prepare For
It is incredibly hard to predict and prepare around 20/20 gestalts, but inside the main document is a somewhat detailed number of area effects and things that stymie common tactics - namely trying to Plane Shift off the First World when they wake up there. As a DM you are encouraged to adapt, but not go out of your way to counter, other problematic tactics.

Plans Moving Forward
I want to make a map of the area, as well as upgrade the Wolven King's Guard enemies to have Dampen Presence, Blindsight, and a higher modifier to hit as they have trouble with any build that has respectable dexterity or AC.

Additionally I will be putting more images for the areas, as well as a list of song suggestions for background noise. This should be done in the next two weeks, as I move soon.

What I'd Like from the Community
Honestly I'd just like feedback. Did you all enjoy my writing, are there any glaring weaknesses or things I missed? Would you enjoy seeing other Gestalt focused one shots?

I felt the need to share with the community, and really hope to see your feedback.

Thank you

Do abilities like Animal Focus for Hunter, and other similar abilities like the Invoker Witch's "Invoke Patron" ability, cause a noticeable and visual change to the user?

Animal Focus wrote:

Animal Focus (Su)

At 1st level, a hunter can take on the aspect of an animal as a swift action. She must select one type of animal to emulate, gaining a bonus or special ability based on the type of animal emulated and her hunter level. The hunter can use this ability for a number of minutes per day equal to her level. This duration does not need to be consecutive, but must be spent in 1-minute increments. The hunter can emulate only one animal at a time.

Invoke Patron (Su)

At 1st level, an invoker can invite spirits associated with her patron’s themes into her body and mind as a swift action. This functions like a hunter’s animal focus, except she emulates facets of her patron, chosen from the list below. The invoker can use this ability for a number of minutes per day equal to her level; this duration need not be consecutive, but it must be spent in 1-minute increments.

I'd assume that it causes a visible change (Wolf Aspect Hunter gets more wolflike, a Shadow Invoker Patron gets shadowey) but it isn't exactly clear.

Does that mean parchment swarm's material component of "M (blank parchment or magic scroll; see text)" (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/p/parchment-swarm/) would be replaceable with false focus? Effectively letting us pick and choose a first level spell effect as a rider to the spell (1st level scrolls are 25 gold).

As Cavall Wrote wrote:
Pellet blast says you have to choose one of three. So it's a requirement. That's the spell not an optional alchemical item add on. So false focus works just fine for it.

Hi there,
I just had a quick question about the uses of the False Focus feat and how it interacts with additional material components.

False Focus (https://www.d20pfsrd.com/feats/general-feats/false-focus/)

Example Additional Material Component (http://www.archivesofnethys.com/EquipmentMiscDisplay.aspx?ItemName=Varisia n%20idol)

Would we be able to "add" a Avidais Varisian idol (+2 to dispel checks) to a Dispel Magic, effectively treating Dispel Magic as having a required material cost of the Avidais Varisian idol? There are a lot of other interactions with other optional additional material components and I was hoping for some clarification or general consensus, seeing as there isn't really a hard rule here.
