This is a slightly odd request and I totally understand if it isn't possible.

I had scheduled to start the Curse of the Crimson Throne campaign on the 25th of this month. I know you folks are probably really piled up because of the sale, but I was wondering if it would be any faster to split my shipment up. I would really like the Harrow Deck before the 25th. Or perhaps there is a certain type of shipping I could upgrade my order to?

Like I said, if not, I totally get it. I just thought I'd ask.

...and while I'm at it, what sort of bribes do you accept in order to magically produce a copy of Seven Days to the Grave for me to purchase? I'm serious. I'll send the office a pizza or draw a beautiful picture for one of you. I searched for an answer (http://imgur.com/W2LrdKD) but making a skill check for my bribery attempt didn't seem like it'd work too well over the internet. :(

There may not be a forum for this, but I thought I'd check. I am only missing one book from the CotCT AP and I am hoping to inquire around and see who has a copy. Is that allowed here, and if so, where would be the appropriate place to put it?

Thank you!

Everyone here has been quite the amazing help, thank you. :)

I am curious if anyone else has applied mood music to the first module and found that certain themes or sound effects work better to set the tone of things. I have never actually used much music in any of the few adventures I have DMed, so I am a bit new to the idea. I played a game where the DM did use music and it really helped me get into the mood of things.

Ideas?

One of the things I worry about with the AP is that at some point some of the players may decide that it is simply better to up and leave instead of dealing with what is going on. I am working on a few different ways to really develop a genuine sense of attachment to the city, both to avoid this happening and to really get the players invested in the story as it plays out.

While designing a few things here and there, I thought I might ask some of you folks if you've ever done anything like this and if so, did it work?

Outside of the actual adventure path and the Core Rulebook, what material is suggested to have on hand? I am having a hard time finding if Bestiary 1 is referenced, for example.

This will be a group of 4-5 players, all new to the system, and I am new to DMing Pathfinder. I have experience with other systems, just not this one, so I wanted to make sure I had everything required within arms reach. :)

Thank you in advance!

Hello! I haven't DMed in a very long time. I have played multiple games with friends over the years, all of which were 3.5 edition. I have recently had the itch to RP again, as has my wife, and I have found coworkers at a new job who enjoy this sort of thing. So here I am, staring at Pathfinder, and all of these modules sound very good.

I personally enjoy quite a bit of roleplay, and try to play it quick and loose with the combat and rules. If I can't remember a rule, I am the sort to come up with it on the spot (unless it is life-threatening or something) just to keep the flow of the game. The players enjoy a mix of combat and roleplay, and all of them are casual players. It will be a fairly new experience for us all. None of us have played in awhile.

Is there a particular module that is suggested? One that is considered better than the others when it comes to story and flavor? Does it come down to personal preference? I would like a campaign, but am definitely willing to consider single adventures. :)
