Juliana West was born into a family of witches. Her mother is a Wiccan, and raised her daughter as such, but no one could have anticipated what would happen. As she grew older, Juliana found that her spells were much more potent than those used by others of the Craft. Taking this as a sign from the gods, she adopted a costumed identity (wearing a black wig) and built a reputation as a crimefighter.
