How well would an Earth Kineticist perform in an E6 game? Can take Expand Elements as the first feat and are using the Elite NPC stat array.

I'll use it as a baseline for the system I end up using. Mostly intend on them noticing the effects very gradually and that makes it fairly simple.

Love it! I'm gonna refine it a little but that's a fantastic start!

Love the spheres of power suggestions! The only issue I have with it is my group is super new, and I'd like to keep things a bit simpler for the time being. Spheres will come into play later, though! I just want to give them some flavorful abilities that will hint at what can truly come.

Hello my lovely forum goers, I'm GMing a new pathfinder campaign in which all magic in the settings is drawn from ley-lines, each of which correspond to a different type of energy that have a different color (Based on Magic the Gathering).

I plan on giving each player unique bonuses depending on their personality and actions that would tie them to one or two colors.

I don't really have any ideas what I could do for this system, maybe:

Slighty Attuned to Red: Fire Resistance 5

Thoughts, comments, ideas and concerns?

Explosive Rune detonator.

I always like the tomato one:

Wisdom is knowing not to put a tomato in a fruit salad.
Charisma is being able to sell a tomato-based fruit salad.
isn't a tomato-based fruit salad just salsa?

Guys I found the Bard!

I am dumb, I missed the update part. Awesome!

Any hope for this guide to be updated? There really isn't any up to date guide for cleric and this one is absolutely amazing.

I think the FCT MAY have killed the build, but I'm not sure. Sad, as it one of the most fun builds I have ever played.

Welp, that errata sucked.

Can't wait till this guide's updated, amazing help!

So with the changes to Bolt Ace, any different thoughts on the Archtype? I feel like the nerf to Sharp Shot was undeserved.

And to add on another question, how do natural attacks work with iteratives? If I have 4 attacks as a dire tiger, do I just get those 4 or do I also get any iteratives?

Hmmmm, I'm thinking of a Master of Many Style 2 levels then straight Druid. Any thoughts on stats?

Hello forum! I'm about to start a new Pathfinder campaign and I'm looking for your help with a character. I read the Fist of the Forest guide (Guide in question) and was confused. How many levels of each should I take? Starting at level 5, should I just go straight Druid then multiclass Monk, or vice-versa? I still want to be able to get 9th level spells, but can I do that while still keeping true to the build? I'm playing a Human with 30pb (ridiculous I know).

Thanks in advance!

Even if you absolutely HAD to murder him, which was kind of a dickish thing to do, you could have gone about it in ways that avoid your own personal involvement. Hire a thief, have someone else scribe the spells, etc. If you're going to be a dick, be a smart dick.

Any updates for this guide? Loved it and wondered if it gained anything from new releases.

I'm pretty partial to Skinwalkers for natural attack builds.

My ideal party composition is 6 or fewer people who get along and can have fun playing the game. Class composition is secondary.

MisterDoug, he said it's PFS. No 3rd party allowed, therefore.

Do the rapier, and don't look back. 18-20 is higher average damage than 19-20/x2, especially when you keen/imp.crit it, and doesn't require burning an extra feat like wielding a falcata does.

Whoops, my bad. Reading comprehension ftw.

Definately stick with the rapier, or switch to the Katana for the feat again. See if your DM will let you take http://www.d20pfsrd.com/path-of-war/feats#TOC-Deadly-Agility-Combat-

Although some people say Dex>Damage is overpowered, I'm a firm believer in its balance. While some will say it makes Dex an OP stat, you have to have a fair investment to get it.

Personally I'd rather crit more often. When you crit, you're already dealing a ton of damage and if you crit harder some of that damage can go to waste (overkill). So, while you'll be dealing the same damage on paper, critting more often means you'll be actually dealing more damage to enemies.

Prety good for third level, Only advice would be trade Improved Sunder for Extra Rage Power Superstition. Sav Improved Sunder for level 9 or 11 just before getting Spell Sunder. I'm assuming you're going for Uberbarian build?

I like this a lot. I think this will be the change I make. Thanks for the advice all!

Hi everyone! I'm currently in a campaign with a high mortality rate. Me being a person who dislikes dying, has created what is (to me) the most min-maxed character I have ever made. My question to you folks, is can I make it stronger?

Any word on the update for this guide? Loving the insight into this class!

Looking at the ACG, for the Flurry build instead of 1 level in Sohei would it be more effective to take 2 levels of Brawler? Still can flurry in armor, gains martial flexibility, and perception as a class skill!

MisterDoug if you want to do Sir Bearington you might want to use the spy and the master spy.

Damn, and I thought I was being original! Or maybe I saw it a few years back and its now popping up in my head. Damn my unconscious plagiarism!

Well, please make it as easy or challenging as you so desire. As long as the result is the same I have no preference. Post the easy one, the hard one, or both!

Hmmmm, I'm not quite sure! this is my first time doing a new race with a gimmick like this. Sir Bearington is not anthropomorphic, it's a bear. Not a furry, a bear. But for some reason friendly and magical. What would be the difference between an Awakened animal and a custom race.

Good evening fellow forum dwellers! I am looking to acquire your assistance with a concept of a character that I have.

I'm looking to make a character that is a Bear Druid. No, not a druid specializing in bears. I'm looking to make a druid that is a bear.

Crazy, I know, but it doesn't end there. No, I've decided to throw a very silly wrench into this machine of d20. I want this bear to be seen as a human through such a ridiculously high bluff or disguise check (or both!) that no one actually knows that Sir Bearington is a bear, but a rather large and hairy person with a rather long nose with a large taste for mead and honey. He understands common, and growls in such a way people kinda get the gist of what he's saying (a la Stewie in Family Guy).

Stats are: 18, 15, 16, 10, 14, 17

Race can go up to 15 rp, though I'd prefer it not be too min-maxy. This is a silly concept for a silly game. With a stat array like that, I'm sure we can get some ridiculous things going!

And one more thing, we're currently at level 2. So a build near levels 5 or 10 would be awesome, and I can take it from there.

Thanks in advance people!

So we started playing a new game and I was playing a paladin and some one else was playing a brawler (these two are the only ones you need to know) so the brawler was wanting to try out out his brawling against 2 drunks got one drunk to get anther beer for someone who was super drunk and got the guy giving it to trip splashed all over the other guys shoes which made him angry and he swung a punch at the guy who tripped and people started betting and cheering I work at the garrisons and just before the fighting started I went in to make sure everything was safe fighting starts and during it I go up to them to use diplomacy on them first time the freeze for a sec looking at the guy covered in full amour with the weapons the brawler gets them to fight again before he can join (he's taking bets during all this and it was 5-1 for me getting my butt kicked don't know we're the 5 was going) during my second time I rolled worse and they barely paid attiontn to me the brawler got the, more worked up and one swung a punch at me rolls 15 2 under my ac and breaks his fist and my next time I get 25 and they stop the brawler had a chance to start it again but he gave up everyone thought I was a stick in the mud and then the cleric in our team ahead bought 2 barrels of the finest beer and said who doesn't fight tonight gets free beer so they thought he was a stick also and then a band starts up and sings about me being a stick in the mud

That is one hell of a run-on sentence.

Gestalt is where you combine two classes and get the features of both. When is comes to BaB/Saves and crap, you take the higher number between the two. When you only have one or two people playing like I do, it's a great way to boost power in the party and really makes more flavors possible. Plus my players come up with some crazy stuff!

Maybe could set it up so class features could be edited? That way there's no need to insert every single archtype. You can just have (Fighter) and (Fighter(Archtype)) which enables class feature editing. This also allows Gestalt and lets people make and customize the class as they see fit.

Does this currently support Gestalt or templates? This looks absolutely fantastic and might even take me away from Myth-Weavers once totally done!

I would love to see a guide on DSP's Psion class.
Also, a guide on the Slayer class when it comes out would be amazing!

Hello friends and comrades, I'm looking to create a Ranger-type character who has both proficiency with the Wazikashi and the Katana. If the DM agrees to it, I can trade my animal companion for proficiency with the one or both of the two and I was planning on playing a human or half-elf to cover the other one if it's not covered by the trade. I figure I can two-weapon wield 2 Wazikashis, Two-Hand a Katana, or wield each at the same time in the daishō fashion. Looking at combat styles, I think that taking the Two-Weapon combat style would be the best to cover the build I'm looking at. Would I be right in assuming that, and using my regular feats to augment my abilities with the 2h Katana? Are there any other way I could otherwise improve or achieve this particular flavor?

Current Stats: Level 5

Str: 20 (+2 race)
Dex: 12
Con: 15
Int: 10
Wis: 14
Chr: 7

Combat Style Feats To Take/Taken: Two-Weapon Fighting > Double Slice > Improved TWF > Two-Weapon Rend > Greater TWF

Regular Feats to take: Quick Draw > Power Attack > ?

Thanks for the build, but it's not quite what I'm looking for. Thanks though!

Yes! Now just need to find a way to have like 10+ of the swords under control....

Hey everyone, I'm relatively new to Pathfinder and DnD in general, and looking to create a character with Irelia from League of Legends in mind. That is to say, he can control weapons and use them at a distance with his mind. Any class or material or race is fair game, and I'm curious as to if this is able to be done. Thanks for your guys' help!
