Milo Townsend grew up in the Ordellia District of Magnimar. When he was younger, he fell in with the wrong crowd and joined the Night Scales (the city's oldest theives' guild). He gradually became disillusioned with the criminal life, and had recently left the gang.

He found that leaving the Night Scales wasn't as easy as he'd hoped, and came to the realization that he needed to get out of the city for a while. After getting in touch with a few relatives, he accepted an invitation to stay with a second cousin in Almas, the capital of Andoran.

Motivation: Milo wants to turn his life around, and make up for some of the harm that he caused as member of the Night Scales.
