np good luck with what is going on and hopefully it will get better soon

percep 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25
int 1d20 ⇒ 2
wis 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12

yep i am

Going to start, let me know if this is not what you are looking for.

Mike is just about the average high schooler, 5'10, 170 lbs. He goes from class to class trying to not talk to anyone and get to the next one as quickly as possible. Not many friends, but seems to be well like by most everyone. Just no one close. Plays in the band (tuba), likes to go fishing with his father on the weekends, and runs cross country during the fall(to stay in shape, Junior Varsity), and track and field in the spring (pole vault, usually good enough to get in the top 3-5 in regional meets).

But his passion is martials arts, from a small age he is taken in any form he could. Currently he is getting ready to test for his second degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do of the Chung Do Kwan style, holds a green belt in Judo, and a level 1 blue belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Even with a little bit of dabbling into the art of Muay Thai.

Generally calm, but he will defend when necesarry any that he sees as getting picked on.

Dot, Paxs, the character is the right name but the profile is from a really old game, will update it once i see how you want it done

If I remember correctly, there is a 2 weapon fighter build now. As well as the two weapon fighting feat, that gives your main hand +1 damage during heroic tier. So if one fighter was using a greatsword and the other is using a longsword/shortsword with the two weapon fighting feat. One would do 1d10 and the other would do 1d8+1. I know there is a difference but it only comes up on crits and maximum dice rolls. The base average is still 5.5.

"Sounds good, I was thinking the .22s for rattling around in the head of the zombie at close range, but I do not know handguns as well as you do. So I will go with you on the recommendations. Get me a couple of shortswords, machetes, or police batons if they have them, along with belts"

"I was thinking maybe some trail mix or beef jerky. You occasionally see that around the registers. Come on kid, if we live through the supply trip then I want to know your name."

Heads towards the gun section, and I am looking for shotguns and their ammo first so we can give them to people not used to using guns. I am going to grab duffle bags and backpacks on the way to the guns.

"This is a list of items I would like to find in the store (not what I am expecting to find, just general stuff I am looking for, and I am telling the kid this is what we are looking for):

3 870 remington shotgun 20 or 12 gauge, or mossberg equivalent with shoulder straps(20 gauge preferred due to weight)
6-10 boxes of ammo for the shotguns
1 30/30 winchester with scope and shoulder strap
1 .243 remington with scope and shoulder strap
6-10 boxes of the ammo for the rifles
1 gun repair kit (if we can find it, mainly looking for pliars/screw driver)
3 field backpacks/duffle bags for loading up the ammo/pistols
5 .22, 9 mm, or .45 pistols
5-10 extra clips for the pistols
5 gun belts
6-10 boxes of ammo for the pistols
2 gun cleaning kits
4-5 hunting vests/jackets
4-5 game bag belts (going to use them to hold ammo if available)
3 hunting knives with sheath
2 knife sharpeners
1 compound bow
1 crossbow with scope and shoulder strap
quiver of 15-20 arrows for each (broadheads)
2-3 kids aluminum baseball bats (like mine)"

"Kid if you see this stuff start making a pile in front of the gun counter. Try and keep it orderly if possible."

Gets out and takes a flanking position from Luc, scanning the halls.

"It looks clear. Any ideas on what we should grab first? I am thinking food, rope, and guns are top of the list. Maybe a machette if we can find it."

Mike, jumps onto the cart and positions his bat for easy access across his lap.

"I am with you. A woodcutting axe, or bush axe may not be a bad idea to bring back for the kids."

Awesome news! Myself, the two kids that seem attached to me (Ok.. the insecure girl that seems to have adopted me as big brother or uncle or whatever and her brother that's coming along reluctantly lmao) and one other PC (probably Mike though if you want in Charlie feel free, especially since Mike seems to have fewer posting opportunities than we do) are going to tear accross the mall to the sporting store to stock up on gear.

I am in, I will try and check morning and night every night. I got side tracked with sick kids/wife, but they are getting better.

"I heard you discussing shops with various equipment, lets get a few groups together and get it done sir. The sooner we can get everything we need, get onto the top level and fortify it, the better."

"Nice throw! I agree let us get geared up. I can hear a hunting rifle calling my name. If I had to make a guess the guy in the wheelchair is in charge."

1d20 ⇒ 16

I am going to start moving away from the middle of the hallway to put my back to the wall, with my bat in hand.

So are we doing 4d6 take away lowest or just 4d6? Not sure now.

4d6 take away the lowest is what he said higher up. I just rolled all 4 in open view and the system adds the totals. So like for me

I got 17 14 14 7 12 9

"Hello, my name is Mike. I would say it was nice to meet you all, but under the present circumstances, it is just nice to be alive.

Does anyone know if there is a sporting good store or hardware store here in the mall? It has been a long time since I have been here. We could use stuff from those to places about now."

Well, you can always change your mind and create something different that will work better with those stats.

To all players: reminder: you can play more than one character, if you want.

Yep I did tweak a little same general principle, I should have it posted before too long.

4d6 ⇒ (6, 5, 6, 4) = 21
4d6 ⇒ (6, 3, 3, 5) = 17
4d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 3, 6) = 16
4d6 ⇒ (1, 3, 1, 3) = 8
4d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 1, 3) = 13
4d6 ⇒ (2, 1, 4, 3) = 10

wow the dice gods dont like me very much, but still not the worst

If you decide to go with warlock, I'll require of you to come up with warlock pact specific to your character and with specific entity.

I found his thread and wow. Are any of those classes fair game?

So, I've been running Nightflier's Cemetery of Empires for some time now. It's a gestalt game using Pathfinder Beta and 3.5 splatbooks. Existing gaming group is progressing rather nicely, but the time has come for another group to join the game. These players are heroes, so now I need villains. The games will be separated most of the time, but sometimes two groups will cross their paths. Characters for this game should be neutral or evil, with mercenary attitudes, or agents of foreign powers. Any takers?

I would so be in, but I can no longer find my beta pdf. :(

Anyone know of how to get one?

Hello all,

I'm looking for a PbP game (preferably set in Eberron and using 4th Edition rules, but I'll play anything).

Thanks.

Me too on any 4th edition PBP.

I fended off the first zombie that came at me with a small aluminum bat, bashing its head in. I got in my car and started driving around listening to the radio. The news guy said there had been a lot of sightings of the virus victims and that authorities were telling people to head to the mall so they can secure the location and protect the citizens. I decided that did not sound like a bad idea and I drove there avoiding the victims when I could, and knocking them out of the way with my car when I could not. My car is now pretty beat up in the parking lot of the mall, and I took as much as I could carry from my car in my backpack, and my food. As little as it may be, it may be just the last bit i need to get me through this.

ok i will post here then. I actually have my son's t-ball aluminum bat in my trunk, since i usually take him to practice, and just havent removed it. Its right around 3 feet long. I spend alot of time in my car going to and from work so that is where i would be. So that would make me have my lunch box (ham sandwich, apple, water bottle), car keys, wallet (cc, under $5 in cash), a cell phone (no camera or texting), a small old timer pocket knife (3 blades), the cloths on my back, 1 tinkerbell rear view mirror ornament, and whatever is in the trunk. Currently there is the little kids bat, little kids baseball helmet, little kid baseball glove, a folding chair, flash light, small shovel, 1 gallon bag of kitty litter, a blanket, and 1 liter of oil (10w/30). I also have my workout backpack that I use daily to run at work. All it has is white t-shirt, shorts, extra socks, extra pair of running shoes, a towel, and my sunglasses in it.

Is that cool? And we will say I am stopped at a local food/gas store getting gas, it is inbetween my house and work.

The shovel and kitty litter is for when i get stuck in the snow. Has only happened, once and man was it handy.

And if we feel totally inept at something can we go less than 50% I am just that bad at throwing :) no idea why

I have updated my skills on my profile, and added a fear that is sad but true :( and totally appropriate

I also went with the assumption that 80% was a master like in your example.

Do we have any equipment, or is that going to be part of it collecting it in the mall? or just normal stuff that you would have at the mall (car keys, pocket knife, money, etc..)

This is Detritus's alias. Are you going to tell us what our % is going to be for each skill or do we set it ourselves?
