If I know my players, and I think I do, they will actually love the craziness in Reign of Winter, and definetely the trip to Earth will be enjoyed immensely by them :)

Yeah, I already did that and they cannot really decide on which theme they like most, so that is why I came to you guys :p

Tybid, I agree, Curse is probably ranked as the nr 1 of all the ap's, but Reign of Winter has some sick elements. I personally think Curse of the Crimson Throne has such a subtle story, but Reign of Winter is completely out of this world. So I think my players just have to decide what they like more: low fantasy-brilliant story, high fantasy-crazy story haha.

I think we are definetly going to go with your advice Orthos, both these ap's are going to be runned :)

He guys, I am a relatively unexperienced player, who has started playing Pathfinder almosth two years ago, together with a group of people who were also completely new to Pathfinder and the genre of RPG's. We started with Rise of the Runelords, and we are now halfway trough the last adventure, and I can say it has been an awesome journey so far and we are definetly going to continue playing pathfinder.
For the next ap we want to switch gm's, which means I am going to gm for the first time. Since a couple a months I have been reading a lot in my search for the best ap, and based on what I have read and on my personal opinion, I have come to the conclusion that its either gonna be
'Curse of the Crimson Throne' or 'Reign of Winter', both for completely different reasons. Now, I have read both ap's, and I think both of them are really good, but I am curious which ap you guys would recommend, as a lot of you guys have played trough one of these ap's, or even trough both and so you guys know which you prefer and why, better than me, who can only judge the theoretical core of these ap's.

So, in short, which ap would you recommend: 'Curse of the Crimson Throne' or 'Reign of Winter' and why?

Thanks in advance for the advice!
