About McDaniel Spencer
"One shot, one kill."
Born and raised on the northern Andoran frontier.
His grandfather, William "Old Bill" Spencer, the patriarch of their settlement, promoted a long-standing feud with a neighboring clan of Dwarves, fostering bigotry towards them and constant skirmishing with them over mining claims.
When Old Bill died, documents found among his personal effects indicated that his accusations levied against the Dwarves were false. Furthermore, it was discovered that Old Bill had once been a slaveowner. His life had been a lie.
McDaniel and several of the younger townsfolk made peace with the Dwarves and began a new era of cooperation. Both sides abandoned their staid veneration of Erastil and Torag and adopted Cayden Cailean as their common patron.
He learned the gunsmithing and powdermaking skills from the Dwarven craftsmen.
McDaniel began his Pathfinder service as a Shadow Lodge member. After the closure of the Shadow Lodge, he returned to his Andoran homeland and enlisted in the militia.
