About Max Brasswhiskers
The Brasswhiskers family is a large and prosperous clan of ratfolk, many of whom work for The Brasswhiskers Boutique. The boutique supplies jewelry, watches and clockwork baubles to the wealthy citizens of Absolom. Young Max is just learning his trade as a watchmaker, and he has found that the same steady hands and eye for detail that help him create fine watch mechanisms also make him valuable to the Pathfinders. He has served as a consultant on several cases where The Society needed an item appraised, or a small trap mechanism disabled, and there is talk that he may soon be sent into the field for the retirement of Venture Captain Roderus.
