That being said-- it sparkles because of the nature of the conjuration. It doesn't specifically say that Glitterdust is a *light source*. I believe the reason that it is a second level spell instead of a first level spell is because it is an AOE-- it covers all subjects within its area. After its created, it persists until the sheen and luster of it wears off, but the spell is not active, fluid or moving like faerie fire. Therefore, as a worn object, a second casting of invisibility would render it invisible. You are effectively expending a resource to force a caster or creature to expend its resource to go invisible again. Faerie fire, even though it is a lower level spell, is single target, evocation, specifically mentions that it is a light source, and persists to follow around a creature-- even if that creature goes invisible.

I know this is an old post, but it has come up twice in the last three weeks, so I wanted to clarify how I rule on the matter.

Hey, if you wanted an easy RPG system, you chose poorly! We're Pathfinders! We choose to look Farabellus in his laughing face and say "Okay. We'll take on that obvious suicide mission!"

I agree with what others have posted. Each chapter so far is taking two 4-hour blocks. We meet every two weeks for this module, so there's no real way that we'll be able to stick with a feedback timeline realistically. I don't want to skip anything though. What further complicates matters is that every time we sit down, we have to ritualistically go through the errata to see if anything has been changed or altered. I know its a WIP, but I think it would have been better to space out the errata more.

I've heard that some people can chug through a chapter in a 4 hour session by ignoring a lot of the things that Paizo wants to test. (For instance, in Ch. 2: party movement in exploration mode, encumbrance and bulk mechanics, etc...). I really want to be a team player, but I feel I won't be able to really get my feedback in on time.

In the Organized Play reporting section under the number of tables you've GMmed, there's a button that says "Refresh Points." I didn't want to press it in case it just cleared my record for some strange reason.

Does anyone know what that button does?
