Name of PC: Silas the ugly elf (Cha 5)
Class/Level: Male Elf Fighter
Adventure: Burnt Offerings
Catalyst: Nualia

After accidentally letting Tsuto go earlier in the adventure, Silas chased him into an ambush by Nualia and got horribly scarred by Lamashtu's mark (down to Cha 1 - it was horrible) before being rendered unconscious then Deathknelled.

Name of PC: Grakh
Class/Level: Male Human Barbarian
Adventure: Burnt Offerings
Catalyst: I wish I could say it was the Hermit Crab, but really it was the other PCs' fault

After approaching Malfeshnekor by himself and getting charmed into attempting to bring the rest of the party to him, Grakh was rendered unconscious by his allies then charmed by the rogue/sorcerer on waking. Only healed up a little to keep him in line, he was then sent against the crab and horribly crushed.

My PCs initially confused the doctor at the sanatorium who thought they had brought the swashbuckler in to be committed because he was so annoying he had to be insane.

The rogue / sorcerer keeps charming everything in sight - one goblin was persuaded to let out the warhorse because he thought the "magic stone" would protect him. He was later seen under it's hooves screaming how sorry he was that he'd dropped the stone. Another (badly wounded) goblin was persuaded that it would be a great idea to go challenge Ripnugget for leadership of the tribe (never seen again).

When a sinspawn wandered up from the Catacombs (I needed to get a PC involved after he was away for a week and the rest of the group were already down there), the fighter beat it down to 3 hp then stepped back and demanded the town guards arrest it. After almost killing the guards it was subdued and locked in the cell next to the town drunks (who sobered up pretty fast). When the PCs got back, realising the sheriff was still out of town, they and staged a fight between the barbarian and the monster on the beach, watched by most of the town (by the time the mayor found out what was happening the catering had already been arranged). The barbarian was armed with just a shortsword to keep it interesting (and almost died).

A couple of points in the Skills section:

In Table 5-3, page 37, the Tumble skill isn't listed as one of those folded into Acrobatics, but it clearly has been from the description.

Table 5-1 on the same page still refers to Skill Choices in the top line instead of Skill Ranks.

Yes, I've just seen the change. I guess now this ability is useless for fighters as it stands, but then so are most of the proficiencies gained from the other races, so it evens out i guess.

Just a thought on the additional Weapon proficiency for humans - would it be useful to be able to choose Improved Unarmed Strike (or whatever the new equivalent will be)instead of a weapon?

Not every human fighter wants to be able to wield an exotic weapon, as sometimes their signature weapons just need the martial proficiencies. The ability to be competent when unarmed could be a more useful ability.
