Male Human Sorceror 5/ Dragon Disciple 3
Might be a little late, as I'll be busy for most of the day, but I think I can check it out sometime tomorrow night. Looks good so far, you seem to have everything well in hand. I don't see anything to really object to, having two bards in the party seems a bit redundant, but I don't have a real problem with it. Do you have a limit for how many new players we get? Ideally, I think we're looking for 1 or 2 martial types, someone who can handle healing (cleric/oracle) and a rogue. If we have those 3 things covered, anything after that is just bonus material, though an extra spellcaster wouldn't hurt. I'm inclined to say the more the merrier, but seeing as you're the one who is going to have to keep track of us all, your preference for party size takes precedence.

Hey Azure, love the interest and looking forward to playing with some new people, but I'm wondering if I should go ahead and invite Kressle and Haps to go out with us anyway. In game terms Halloran wouldn't know that any new people were coming and no offense to any new players, but despite their former background he knows who Kressle And Haps are. The new people would be completely unknown to him. In practical terms, I don't have to tell you how many people have come and gone since this game started, I'm the only original member that actually started this adventure path, left. NPC's can be counted on to stick around, when other players disappear, however since you're the one who'll be running them, I figure it's your call. Not trying to make more work for you, or sound like I don't welcome new players, just thinking out loud. What do you think?

Why not do both? Halloran is already laying the ground work for inviting Kressle to go out with the party and maybe Happs, at a later point. And you can see if we can find any new players who are interested in joining the group. If we find some new people great, and if not we can have the NPC's take up the slack. |
