About Maelstrom "Famous" Macready
Maelstrom, "Famous" to his friends, is a friendly, rotund, happy-go-lucky freebooter and adventurer. Though extraordinarily spry for someone of his girth, the half-orc is perfectly happy to play the clumsy lout if it means he can get out of work or trick an opponent into thinking he's isn't worth the trouble. Maelstrom joined the Pathfinder Society because he was drunk and it seemed like fun at the time.
Macready doesn't actually consider himself a ninja and doesn't know why anyone would call him one. He finds the appellation amusing and wouldn't be able to tell the difference between a katana and a bastard sword if one of each was hanging out of his immense gut. Though he's a trained sailor with a love for the sea, Macready's true passion is adventure and he's just as happy to explore vast jungles, snowy mountains or dusty deserts with a bindle hanging from his boarding pike and a brass knife tucked into his belt.
