So I already have the regular dvd of this movie, but just saw my local Blockbuster is selling the Director's Cut for $7. Has anyone seen this version? Has a lot been added? Worth the money to upgrade?

Spitfire Revenant
Description: A spitfire revenant is a nightmarish creature resembling the scorched carcass of a powerful stag impaled on a long wooden skewer. It stalks through the wilds upright on its hind legs with the shaft of the spit running upwards through the body to pass out one side of the beast’s neck. Its torso is split open revealing an inner cavity filled with hot, glowing coals, and its tough outer hide is blackened and seared as though having been roasted at great length. The beast’s dark eyes smolder with hateful malevolence from a head violently canted to one side by the wooden spit.
Spitfire revenants are most commonly encountered in areas of dense, wooded wilderness just beginning to suffer the encroachments and depredations of humanoid civilization. Though usually mistaken for some twisted form of undead by those who survive an encounter with one (hence the fallacious name), they are in fact vicious fey bound to patrol and drive interlopers from the borders of their domain. Some believe they are the vengeful spirit of the forest itself manifesting its fury at the rape of the wild.
Powers and Abilities: As the approach of a spitfire revenant is accompanied by the overpowering stench of charred meat, it often must attempt to take its prey by ambush – observing parties of humanoids from a distance and waiting until after they make evening camp to strike and wreak the most havoc. The creature is extremely strong – especially when fully enraged – and charges whenever possible in combat to gore with its sooty, blackened antlers. The massive heat radiating from its body is intense and often damaging to melee opponents. The spitfire revenant also possesses a breath weapon, being able to expel a blistering cloud of hot, acrid smoke at its foes.

Description
This tiny sphere of marble can be used to strengthen an existing link between the user and a creature bound to him. When first activated by a character and then swallowed by that character’s animal companion, bonded mount or familiar, the stone magically remains inside that creature, allowing the character to be continually aware of its distance, direction, and general condition as the spell status.
In addition, if the character has line of sight to the creature, he may, as an immediate action, protect the creature from being harmed by one successful attack, suffering the full damage and/or effects of that attack himself instead.
Finally, the character may once per day, as a standard action, remove one of the following conditions from the creature: blinded, dazzled, deafened, fatigued, shaken, or sickened. The character must be within 30 ft of the creature to do this and the condition is then suffered by the character for the remaining duration for which it would otherwise have been in effect. Alternatively, the character may instead choose to reduce a condition of exhausted, frightened, or nauseated to a less severe state, but both he and the creature suffer the lesser condition. (Removal of a frightened status, for example, would leave both the character and creature shaken.)
The stone remains inside the creature until it dies or either the creature or character travel to another plane at which point it crumbles into a worthless powder.

I haven't played the minis game yet, though I have been collecting a-plenty for use in my 3.5/PF games. Anyway, I just signed up for a sealed Legenedary Evils tourney at my FLGS this weekend.

So what do I need to know to a) not look like a noob idiot, and b) bloodily destroy all opposition and score the sweet gift certificate prizes?

So I ran the fam through all the rooms in the basic boxed game that came out a few years ago, and then they got stomped in the last room by the BBEG blue dragon.

While I could just have them roll up new characters, I am wondering if anyone knows any mods where low-level pcs start out as disarmed prisoners and go from there. I was remembering that an old DM of mine said something to that effect about the Slavelords series, but I pulled out an old copy of A1 I picked up along the way and it is very much not like that.

Any ideas?

I think there is an issue with my "Goroloth" though. There seems to be a piece missing.

If I figure right, there should be a 2-part base, a torso piece, a head piece, and one tail. Also, one set of two dorsal fins, and two sets of two side fins to attach, one set to each left and right. It is these side fins... I only got one set, but from all the pics I can see (and the holes for mounting on the mini itself) it looks like there should be two.

Can I verify this somehow? It seems like it would have had to come from Reaper like this in the first place. How would I go about getting a replacement for the missing piece?

One of my non-Paizo-savvy relatives gave me a Chase Visa gift card for Xmas which I was planning to use on the site.

I am still filling my yummy shopping cart goodness at present, but I am a little nervous as to whether I can split my payment between two methods when I am ready to check out. As in, "$30 should come off card X, and the balance off my regular card..." Is that readily possible? will it require special considerations, etc?

So the original order date was November 14. I am pretty sure (though admittedly not 100%) that when I completed the order it had said 9 to 16 business days to ship out, though now it says 10 to 17. Even so, it's at about 21 I think.

I saw the charge for the order submitted to my card last Friday. It shows as of this morning that it actually posted to my account yesterday. Currently the order status still just shows "Pending" though?

The main wrinkle of course is that I need to make sure the plushy Cthulhu part of the order gets here by when I leave for home for Xmas (the morning of the 23rd). If this order isn't being shipped out today, is it at all practicable to break this part of the order off and ship it separately asap?

I just thought it might be a good idea if there was some kind of option available for one person to buy a store credit for another person if they have an account on the site. Perhaps as an item for purchase out in the store, available in increments of $5 or $10?

For instance, with gamer Xmas lists being hopelessly specific sometimes, it would be a help if maybe a relative could say just put $20 on the site for their beloved gamer to log on later and apply to their latest fix of sweet Paizonian goodness. Equivalent of a gift card or gift certificate?

Anyhoo, I have no idea what would be involved or if it is at all feasible. Just wanted to throw it out there...
