About Madam Mystique

Madam Mystique was born Roxanna Ioana Ordranti, a minor Royal in the Principality of Ustalav. Her branch of the royal family, after a political struggle, were stripped of their titles and banished. Roxanna was separated from her family and grew up on the streets and travelling with merchant caravans throughout Ustalav and Varisia.

While travelling with the caravans, it was discovered that Roxanna had the Harrowing gift. She studied with a Varisian Cartomancer who helped her develop her talents.

She left Ustalav, fearing she was still hunted by rivals and joined the Pathfinder Society.
