I don't know. I Columbus known for anything cool? That's purchasable and shipable, I mean. I've known some cool people from Columbus, but I've been told we don't buy people and ship them anymore.
As much as I do appreciate Chancre's artistic expression, I also am missing the game. I'm hoping we will resume normal gaming operations at some point?
With Chancre, verbose speech is always a free action.
I am so happy he's keeping it alive while we wait for chavamana's life to settle down so she can come back to us.

Now that the holidays are over, I hope we'll start the gaming again. I'm going into DTs over here with the withdrawal.
While Míril is away from the main action, I personally am home most of the holidays. So I'll be keeping an eye on the action.
"Oh good. A trap," Konstantin mutters, looking at the velvet banner of the Sword of Valor.
Míril signs to respond to Samirah. Sign: "It's not just that I hurt my friends. I am still under that vampire's control, even though he is destroyed. I can feel the leash still there, waiting for a new master to take it. I'm an automatic liability if we run into another bloodsucker."
Míril signs back to Roshan and Samirah. Sign: "Together Roshan and I are a nearly undetectable duo. I don't know if I'm better here or helping deliver, though. I'm less likely to run into a vampire and be forced to kill the rest of you if I'm running back to Kenebres with Roshan, for what that's worth."
"I don't know that we need to listen to Nurah's thoughts," opines Míril. "I mean, I don't think we need her confession. We've seen the evidence of her deeds. The real question is if she wants to offer a defense. If she does we just need to know if she is telling the truth or not. And that we can do." "If she offers a truthful defense, even if it's just the truth as she knows it, we can take that into account when pronouncing judgement."

I'm also maxed out on Sense Motive. I'd need a Wisdom enhancer to get any better. And I am my own skeleton key, in Citadel Drezen and anywhere else for that matter.

Nurah looks surprised, "I was trying to warn you that the evil lady had told me she was summoning a balor. Strong as all of you are, I don't think you're ready for that." She offers a small smile, "But I know how stubborn you all are. That you'd have tried to save me even if it meant facing such a fearsome foe. I was just suggesting that you leave me to die and save yourself."
Míril smirks at Nurah's last statement. "Pull the other one, honey."
And even when Chancre does die, death doesn't really take.
I believe Haley Starshine would refer to Konstantin as "meat shield".
I will also point out that Chancre's last usage of his "use any teamwork feat" to stealth with us only made sense if he could use our bonuses and not just the highest roll of ours.
...actually, I think it depends what interpretation the GM is using. Well, that's true of just about anything in Pathfinder. But given the description of Teamwork Feats includes "teamwork feats grant large bonuses, but they only function under specific circumstances", I think the wording of the Stealth Synergy feat "you all take the highest roll and add all your modifiers" is intended to give the cumulative bonus. Especially as it's only in effect if we're in sight of one another. That's just my 2 cents, but I'm ok with whichever way Mana rules.
I have one that when I do sneak attack damage, that foe has a -2 attack penalty against me for 1d4 rounds. Also, once per day now I can basically do an Augury spell, which should help when we're trying to decide courses of action.
Míril is now completely leveled. And while leveling her, I noticed some abilities gained at 8th level that I keep forgetting she has, and so I forget to make use of. I shall endeavor to let them see the light of day. Cause they're kind of cool and froody.
Miril. Changed my mind. I have change my feat to Stealth Synergy. Woohoo! We will now be the Invisible Twins. Because between adding up all our bonuses, plus my "can take 10 all the fricking time" ability, we're minimum doing a Stealth of 44. Up to 54 if Roshan rolls well. (And if I swap my Elven Chain out for my old leather armor, we jump to 46-56.) Now if we can convince Chancre to put 1 rank in Stealth, then when he uses his "I can use any teamwork feat" ability we will have three of us at one with the shadows. And we can really reliably snipe at people from the shadows and take the -20 penalty to re-stealth. It's still at least a 24. Like I said, epic stealthy. After I finish squeeing, I'm going to update my CRS.
Except for her 9th level feat, which is floating till I hear from Roshan, Míril is leveled.
I'm thinking of taking the Stealth Synergy teamwork feat, if Roshan is also interested. Our stealthiness would be epic if we both took the feat.
Catching Roshan's eye, Míril gestures with her right hand, making a pointing motion to the left in front of her mouth while shaking her head; then points to her neck, moving her finger back and forth; and lastly pinches her cheek with a hooked index finger. Sign: "You shouldn't lie to a priest. It's rude."
Míril keeps an eye on the priestess' body language, but otherwise lets Chancre and Konstantin do the questioning.
Míril steps back from the interrogation, with her sword at the ready. She puts on her best disinterested yet alert face, the one that seems to say "go ahead, see what happens."
Samirah, can you tell us how the battle turns out?
I'm down to one mythic point, and also down to one Scale charge. I may use the mythic point for a Surprise Strike to run the priestess through. But I'll keep the scale on reserve to keep people from dying.
Round 11: Míril gives chase to the priestess, running ahead of her to get into flanking position with Irabeth.
Round 10: Dancing and tumbling, Míril moves around the newcomer woman in chains. When she achieves flanking on her with Samirah, she lashes out with her short sword.
Round 9: With only the priestess left, Míril steps forward to take her chances in successfully penetrating her displacement effect and actually hitting her.
Round 8: Míril steps forward to engage the demon standing between her and Chancre, and her sword goes snicker-snack!
Round 7: Míril presses her attack on the goatish demon, adamantine sword flashing in the light from the fires.
Round 6: With the priestess' Wall of Force dispelled, Míril charges in to flank the priestess with Chancre. She stabs at her with her pointy short sword.
Round 5: With all the foes on this side of the Wall of Force dealt with, Míril crosses the room to the Wall of Force. Having no other options on dealing with it, she hacks at it with her sword.
Round 4: While Míril knows she's not currently weilding the most appropriate weapon to attack a demon, she nevertheless attacks the not-frozen-solid babau since Anevia is providing flanking.
Round 3 Addendum:
Round 3: With Staunton's mount downed, Míril decides to get back to her strength: flanking and stabbing in mêlée. She tumbles by the minotaur and babau Anevia is fighting. Once she achieves flanking with Anevia she stabs at the babau.

Round 2: Míril continues her assault on Staunton's buzzing mount.
"Wall of force? I am really starting to dislike you guys." "I know, right? Whatever happened to evil guys playing fair?" grins Míril. "Still, watch out for the wall of force protecting the ritual area, guys!" |
