![]() one level of regular old hunter works great due to the animal focus ability. When you don't have an animal companion pick one focus as always on... Change it as a swift action. Easy answer is don't change it during combat. Going into a dungeon ---> Bat powa (darkvision). fighting a dragon ---> squeek of a mouse please (evasion.) Sneak past the guards ---> the night hunting Owl will be with you (+4 stealth) Its great if you know what you are going up against as a fallback Evasion or darkvision never sucks set it and forget it. I'm planning 1 or more levels of hunter into my Zen archer for next campaign I get to play in. ![]()
![]() I just ran the laboratory portion and thought the centafuge was going to be an interesting fight. It wasn't. . . Luniom the Vast surprised the party with the centrifuge, then rolled a low initiative. The party was bull rushed back to the wall, but the room is small enough that one move round is all that is needed to get to the center area even after I house ruled it as difficult movement. (1/2 speed no charging or running) There were also no issues for the ranged characters who used full round attack actions and almost killed him before the barbarian walked up and cut him in half. The lack of rules that could have made the centrifuge an interesting fight made it nothing more than a 1 vs 5 slaughter. ![]()
![]() My vote would = 0 What I would prefer is they do some adventure paths in the 13-20 range that could be adapted to most of the other AP's that end in the 13-15 range. Reasoning follows:

![]() This goes in the PF same as D&D but often forgotten section. To have any chance of activating a scroll spell, the scroll user must meet the following requirements. The spell must be of the correct type (arcane or divine). Arcane spellcasters (wizards, sorcerers, and bards) can only use scrolls containing arcane spells, and divine spellcasters (clerics, druids, paladins, and rangers) can only use scrolls containing divine spells. (The type of scroll a character creates is also determined by his class.)
