About Lurgun the Ugly
Nobody ever accused Lurgun of an excess of wits, nor of prettiness. Even for a hobgoblin he was not attractive. It was his lack of insight that really doomed him. Lurgun was exiled from his home for cowardice in the face of the enemy. This was a false accusation brought against him by Legrak Ironshins, the son of General Ironshins the Mauler. Legrak accused Lurgun in order to hide his own cowardice, and his word carried far more weight. Lurgun did not have the political clout or the mental wherewithal to save himself from exile. Now, Lurgun wanders alone, selling his skills to whoever can pay him. He plans to get revenge against Legrak and all who supported him however he can. First he has to build up his own store of treasure and train himself better, so that when he has an army at his back and meets Legrak on the field, that cowardly fool won't be able to escape.
