Luanna stands 5'6' tall, with a slender build that disguises her true strength, which comes from a magical pair of gauntlets her inner voice led her to (a raider killed by a local predator). The gloves give her the strength of an ogre. She is more full-figured than most of her kind, a permanent consequence of suckling two half-elf children.
Her hair is usually the color of mahogany, but it varies. The Eladrin teach their subjects invocations which align them with various aspects of existence, such as the seasons, action and rest, health and decay. Each morning, when she meditates and asks her inner voice which spells to prepare, she also can change the invocation and aspect. Her hair and eyes reflect her aspect. Her hair color can vary widely, from blackest night to purest white. Mostly, however, it is dark brown with an admixture of other colors. Her eyes reveal her Eladrin Elven nature instantly, as they have no iris or pupil, presenting only an opaque window. Her eye color varies as does her hair, but most often they gleam with a gold or silver tone. Her skin tone is usually fair, sometimes with multi-colored freckles, but it can shift to shades of honey or walnut.
Her face has delicate features that convey a noble bearing. Most human men find her beautiful. But her fair features cannot mask an almost alien nature. She is never bothered by the heat, she is often indifferent to the moods of others, observing them, but not seeming to sympathize. Her actions are whimsical and often irrational. She mutters things in a strange language and animals and plants seem to treat her like family.
Of course, when she wants to (once per day), she can change into one of the beasts of nature, usually a (medium-sized) bear. When she wants to observe without being recognized, she can change into an otter or a hawk.
She wears armor of horn lamellar and a large wooden shield. She carries a scimitar, a club, and five spears.
She is usually accompanied by a bear. It has brown fur and is a smallish grizzly bear named Ossy.
