About Louksna-Maqos & Dus-Ansu
Haling from a lost tribe of primitive furry halflings called the Paulos-Wolgos (Small-Folk) from the tropical forest of Tolguth in the Realm of the Mammoth Lords, Louksnā-Maqos was exiled when his people rejected him for adopting the dhwosos ghwerā (devil beast) Dus-Ansu who they feared would eat them. The halfling and his "brother" were later discovered by an eccentric member of the Pathfinder Society who brought them back to Absolom and sponsored their induction into the organization. Louksnā-Maqos impressed the Society's leaders with his curiosity, his explorative nature and his loyalty to his saurian companion. The halfling's primitive superstition-born illiteracy presented only a small obstacle to the Society's goals when he proved he could dictate his adventures to a scribe.
Dus-Ansu was barely out of his egg when Louksnā-Maqos rescued him from a band of Nékāmi-Wolgos (Killer-Folk) hunters who had killed the dinosaur's mother and siblings with torches. Despite his savage nature, Dus-Ansu has never forgotten Louksnā-Maqos' compassion and the dinosaur views the furry halfling as family.
