Alchemical Adept

You gain a +2 trait bonus on all Craft (alchemy) checks made to craft alchemical items. Furthermore, when you fail a Craft (alchemy) check by 5 or more but don't roll a natural 1, you don't ruin any raw materials or have to pay that cost again.

Deception (Trickery)

Replacement Power: The following granted power replaces the copycat power of the Trickery domain.

Sudden Shift (Sp): In the blink of an eye, you can appear somewhere else. As an immediate action, after you are missed by a melee attack, you can teleport up to 10 feet to a space that you can see. This space must be inside the reach of the creature that attacked you. You can use this power a number of times each day equal to 3 + your Wisdom modifier.

Master’s Illusion (Sp): At 8th level, you can create an illusion that hides the appearance of yourself and any number of allies within 30 feet for 1 round per cleric level. This ability otherwise functions like the spell veil. The save DC to disbelieve this effect is equal to 10 + 1/2 your cleric level + your Wisdom modifier. The rounds do not need to be consecutive.

Domain Spells: 1st—disguise self, 2nd—mirror image, 3rd—nondetection, 4th—confusion, 5th—false vision, 6th—mislead, 7th—project image, 8th—invisibility (mass), 9th—time stop.



Granted Powers

Bleeding Touch (Sp): As a melee touch attack, you can cause a living creature to take 1d6 points of damage per round. This effect persists for a number of rounds equal to 1/2 your cleric level (minimum 1) or until stopped with a DC 15 Heal check or any spell or effect that heals damage. You can use this ability a number of times per day equal to 3 + your Wisdom modifier.

Death’s Embrace (Ex): At 8th level, you heal damage instead of taking damage from channeled negative energy. If the channeled negative energy targets undead, you heal hit points just like undead in the area.

Domain Spells: 1st—cause fear, 2nd—death knell, 3rd—animate dead, 4th—death ward, 5th—slay living, 6th—create undead, 7th—destruction, 8th—create greater undead, 9th—wail of the banshee.

Lirana's mother died giving birth to her and her father passed away when she was 12. She was told by authorities that it appeared he had been mugged in an alley and died of his wounds. The same day she was told that, the landlord of their building kicked her out and tossed all of their worldly possessions into the street.

She then ended up in the care of her uncle, he father's eldest brother. He appeared to make a living as a humble alchemist with a caring heart who would often sell his wares at half price to those in need who were too poor to afford cures for ill family members. He showed that same heart by taking her in and taking her own as an apprentice and teaching her what he knew.

What Lirana later found out was that her uncle, Keldan Caldori, could afford to be generous with his public apothecary because he made a lot of profit from his private, black market business. He would make anything from illegal drugs to various poisons and toxic ointments. Occasionally he would even take contracts to personally exterminate subjects if the price was high enough.

It was one of those contracts that would later cost Keldan his life when the death of his target failed to gain his employer the position he wanted and he caved in when interrogated about it and named Keldan as the poisoner. He was swiftly taken into custody, charged with the crime and then executed.

Since then, Lirana has been living in fear that the authorities might decide to take her into custody as well and has been looking for a way out of town.
