Background:
Chronos was raised in the village of Regulae Meae, a Half-Orc settlement started by a large group of nomadic Half-Orc barbarians as command post for their exploits, but also a social experiment, a town entirely populated with Half-Orcs. Chronos was found by a scout party when he was 5 years old. His home had been burned by what appeared to be orc raiders. Chronos had somehow not been discovered, though the trauma of the events were suppressed and to this day he cannot recall what happened. Chronos was given a place to stay with the local priest and trained to fight among the barbarian ranks in return for his room and board. Chronos became a talented warrior. Wanting to set himself apart from his orc ancestry he soon found a passion for books and began reading any book written by ancient thinkers from what seemed like alien worlds to him. Books of adventure, wealth and admiration stirred in him this great desire to seek fame and adventure and by the time he was 23 he decided to leave his home for the world his books promised him.
