![]() I know it didn't suceed anyway, but just to clear things up, was the attack a touch attack due to Landis not acting yet? If so then the Uncanny Dodge ability, would have kicked in, and made Landis AC 18. Landis steps sideways away from the heat of the spell, and swings Demon's Fate at Stirge 10. 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (10) + 8 = 18 Warhammer attack 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 Warhammer Damage ![]()

As of this morning he has posted that the Internet is down again, and might be down for up to a month. Some Infrastructure issue. Landis turns at Rommin's cry. "Well come on in yourself"! "You can't stay out there forever, and who knows how many more of these things might show up when they hear the dinner bell". Landis will stand and go full defensive until Rommin begins to move off the rock towards the shore, his net rope still in hand, and held tight. ![]()

Landis was actually attempting to drag the creature upon the rock so that he could deal with it, not throw it there and leave himself in the water. Did that happen? ![]()

I researched this on the internet and found the following as a description: Gladiator Weapons - IaculumThe iaculum was a weighted casting net - the weapon of a retiarius If you still want to rule it is ineffective then Landis will wait for the crab to come closer to the surface before casting. Dang it I spent a feat on this net, I'm going to use it :-) ![]()

![]() I must say I don't remember the bow at all. Is it a +1 Longbow? Landis shakes his head, wondering what he is doing over here while his friends are getting killed. He overhears the hubub, and shakes his head in doubt. "This bow work better than my hammer...I doubt it...but they seem insistant" Landis will string the bow, and nock an arrow, moving to get a clear shot. ![]()

![]() Seeing the party is now free of the embrace of the spirits charm, Landis heads towards the way they came in. "Hurry this way"! "I have been sorely wounded, and we cannot fight these things". "We must come up with a strategy to defeat them, or appease them". He then glances at Noche'Wa. "Leave the betrayer to deal with his kin". "It is obvious he is in league with them". He then begins his retreat, making sure the others are following. If Noche'Wa tries to follow, Landis will stop and try to keep him from doing so. ![]()

![]() Seeing that his weapons have no effect on the creatures, Landis decides to get himself and his dumfounded friends out of here. The ghost of the girl might have made things difficult, but these apparitions looked dangerous. Landis takes off at a full retreat. He will run to Rommin and try to grab him and pull him with him.
