An eidolon can use its tail to bash nearby foes, granting it a tail slap attack. This attack is a secondary attack. The tail slap deals 1d6 points of damage (1d8 if Large, 2d6 if Huge). The eidolon must possess the tail evolution to take this evolution. This evolution can be selected more than once, but the eidolon must possess an equal number of the tail evolution.

Gills (Ex)
An eidolon has gills and can breathe underwater indefinitely.

Swim (Ex)
An eidolon gains webbed hands, feet, or powerful flippers, giving it a swim speed equal to its base speed. This evolution does not give the eidolon the ability to breathe underwater. This evolution can be selected more than once. Each additional time it is selected, increase the eidolon’s swim speed by 20 feet.

An eidolon grows an additional pair of limbs. These limbs can take one of two forms. They can be made into legs, complete with feet. Each pair of legs increases the eidolon’s base speed by 10 feet. Alternatively, they can be made into arms, complete with hands. The eidolon does not gain any additional natural attacks for an additional pair of arms, but it can take other evolutions that add additional attacks (such as claws or a slam). Arms that have hands can be used to wield weapons, if the eidolon is proficient. This evolution can be selected more than once.

An eidolon has a pair of vicious claws at the end of its limbs, giving it two claw attacks. These attacks are primary attacks. The claws deal 1d4 points of damage (1d6 if Large, 1d8 if Huge). The eidolon must have the limbs evolution to take this evolution. This evolution can only be applied to the limbs (legs) evolution once This evolution can be selected more than once, but the eidolon must possess an equal number of the limbs evolution.

This includes a number of abilities gained by all eidolons as they increase in power. Each of these bonuses is described below.

Darkvision (Ex)
The eidolon has darkvision out to a range of 60 feet.

Link (Ex)
A summoner and his eidolon share a mental link allows for communication across any distance (as long as they are on the same plane). This communication is a free action, allowing the summoner to give orders to his eidolon at any time. In addition, magic items interfere with the summoner’s connection to his eidolon. As a result, the summoner and his eidolon share magic item slots. For example, if the summoner is wearing a ring, his eidolon can wear no more than one ring. In case of a conf lict, the items worn by the summoner remain active, and those used by the eidolon become dormant. The eidolon must possess the appropriate appendages to utilize a magic item.

Share Spells (Ex)
The summoner may cast a spell with a target of “you” on his eidolon (as a spell with a range of touch) instead of on himself. A summoner may cast spells on his eidolon even if the spells normally do not affect creatures of the eidolon’s type (outsider). Spells cast in this way must come from the summoner spell list. This ability does not allow the eidolon to share abilities that are not spells, even if they function like spells.

Evasion (Ex)
If an eidolon is subjected to an attack that normally allows a Reflex save for half damage, it takes no damage if it makes a successful saving throw.

Ability Score Increase (Ex)
The eidolon adds +1 to one of its ability scores.

Devotion (Ex)
An eidolon gains a +4 morale bonus on Will saves against enchantment spells and effects.

Multiattack
An eidolon gains Multiattack as a bonus feat if it has 3 or more natural attacks and does not already have that feat. If it does not have the requisite 3 or more natural attacks (or it is reduced to less than 3 attacks), the eidolon instead gains a second attack with one of its natural weapons, albeit at a –5 penalty. If the eidolon later gains 3 or more natural attacks, it loses this additional attack and instead gains Multiattack.

Improved Evasion (Ex)
When subjected to an attack that allows a Reflex saving throw for half damage, an eidolon takes no damage if it makes a successful saving throw and only half damage if the saving throw fails.

Rather than summon an eidolon to serve by his side, the synthesist fuses his eidolon’s essence to his own. Instead of two creatures, the synthesist is a fusion of the summoner and eidolon into a single being.

Fused Eidolon

A synthesist summons the essence of a powerful outsider to meld with his own being. The synthesist wears the eidolon like translucent, living armor. The eidolon mimics all of the synthesist’s movements, and the synthesist perceives through the eidolon’s senses and speaks through its voice, as the two are now one creature.

While fused with his eidolon, the synthesist uses the eidolon’s physical ability scores (Strength, Dexterity, and Constitution), but retains his own mental ability scores (Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma). The synthesist gains the eidolon’s hit points as temporary hit points. When these hit points reach 0, the eidolon is killed and sent back to its home plane. The synthesist uses the eidolon’s base attack bonus, and gains the eidolon’s armor and natural armor bonuses and modifiers to ability scores. The synthesist also gains access to the eidolon’s special abilities and the eidolon’s evolutions. The synthesist is still limited to the eidolon’s maximum number of natural attacks. The eidolon has no skills or feats of its own. The eidolon must be at least the same size as the synthesist. The eidolon must have limbs for the synthesist to cast spells with somatic components. The eidolon’s temporary hit points can be restored with the rejuvenate eidolon spell.
While fused, the synthesist loses the benefits of his armor. He counts as both his original type and as an outsider for any effect related to type, whichever is worse for the synthesist. Spells such as banishment or dismissal work normally on the eidolon, but the synthesist is unaffected. Neither the synthesist nor his eidolon can be targeted separately, as they are fused into one creature. The synthesist and eidolon cannot take separate actions. While fused with his eidolon, the synthesist can use all of his own abilities and gear, except for his armor. In all other cases, this ability functions as the summoner’s normal eidolon ability (for example, the synthesist cannot use his summon monster ability while the eidolon is present).

This ability replaces the class’s eidolon ability, bond senses, and life bond.

The following class abilities function differently for synthesist summoners.

Fused Link (Su)

Starting at 1st level, the synthesist forms a close bond with his eidolon. Whenever the temporary hit points from his eidolon would be reduced to 0, the summoner can, as a free action, sacrifice any number of his own hit points. Each hit point sacrificed this way prevents 1 point of damage done to the eidolon (thus preventing the loss of the summoner’s temporary hit points), preventing the eidolon from being killed and sent back to its home plane.

Background:

Naliea Inceene Was Born into the lesser Noble House Lorenzz, wealth and power, even with the decline of the city, A noble house was still Noble. She was born to be sold, or as her father says, "to be marred well". This was the aim of all lesser noble family's, find a good catch for their unwanted daughters. Coming of age how ever not plain sailing, competition was fierce, more than one young lady found herself at the wrong end of a assassins dagger, lifeless becomes of some rivals planes to web her betrothed. Westcrown is a harsh city and one has to learn the game. A young lady or man of noble blood had to have the skills and wit to look after ones-self, for this they has been trained, leaning not just the arts of curt but also the war the arts of staying alive. This was why she had taken up the way of the gun, she did not have the physical strength for the sword or bow. So the house weapon master had trained her with the revolver and pistol, killing tools that needed a steady hand and good aim. She found she was good at it, besting her brother in the art of guns. The skill had saved her life more than once. They way of the gun was a form of dance and she treated it as such. Such skills where needed as her farther told her once "For being a possible competitor in the bride market to other houses places you at risk from out and out assassination always be on your guard child".

But to her it was all just a distraction, her true love was Dance, from an early age it was her freedom. To a free dancer, someone of art, who could move on stage like the dances she had seen as a child and hold a crowed spellbound. But she was nobility and do what she was told. But what become her down fall She had done for herself; the family had been in a feud with another family for two years, an upstart family of new rich the Lullrans. They were traders who had made their money the hard way, ships and goods a hard thing to do in Westcrown. It had stated when they had cut into the familiars deals, money was lost. So two years of Assassination attempts, burning, attacks in the street, theft followed. To many deaths so She had taken the lead to end it, she was smart and good lucking she could sort it all out, she did by founding a subtle Lullran Son, they meet and talked, they agreed marriage, the hard work was convincing the family. In the end they did, they could see a benefit of aligning the houses new and old, all normal and fine.

Marriage would end the feud and the killing would stop. it was all fine until the wedding day, the marriage was simple the party after not, it was to be a big affair. She and her husband had not wanted it that way but the families insisted. The Older Lullran said it’s their sons and it would be at their right to hold it in their family house. Her Father agreed and seemed happy someone other than he was paying for it all. It was all very grand, it was her wedding day and she loved it, even if she did not love her husband, that she knew would come in time. At the end the they bid the guests from other houses goodbye as they headed down to the docks to the yacht they were to spend their honeymoon on. Her husband had carried her on board as his mother and father waited to greet them and hand over command to the captain. As he put her down a call came up from the docs. It was Norrade her brother, he was holding her jewellery box. Calling out she had forgot it when she got changed at the reception. He had rushed down with it to catch her before they left. He was always thinking of her, she apologized and rand back down the gangplank to get it. Running up to him she was just about to think him when the blast lifted her off her feet and slammed her into him. Burning wood and fire rained down on them, she was dazed then came round, he was out cold she shock him but nothing, they were on fire but she like him did not feel hurt from simple flames. She stood and looked back, where the yacht had been there was a burning hulk sinking. it was all shock after that.

They Court someone, a enemy they said, in gang that had wanted to cut in on both families. The plan to kill the heads of both families’s and course unrest, but Father was not there, called away and if not for dumb luck she two would have been killed. It had all come out in court; the press had had a field day. It was during this time she got the name the "Sad Bride" a poor victim of yet one more evil act. It was also at the time her so called friends started to slip away. No one wanted to be around the "Sad Bride".

The Family new she would find no other husband now, and more to they point her being around mean gossip and chat, she had sunk into a deep depression and it was then that Norrade her brother had come to her.

Giving her gold he said travel, find a place far way and start a new life, we will always be here, he said. As so she did finding her away to a odd town far from home.

It often dos not take long for others to spot her obvious intelligence and noble education. She has a dry wit and can be talkative when the mood takes her. She loves art in all its forms, often siting with street performers and artisans for Hours talking over the finer points of their crafts. She has a melancholic streak at times a sad, at others even coming over as detached, cold. This is because of the events of the resent past, and her brush with infamy as the "Sad Bride". This has made her suspicious of others intentions until, she knows and trusts them, She often peeks with her 3ed Eye - [Not often seen kept under a hat or mask] at others seeking to see if they are true. This has also given rise to a fiercely strong need for independence. She now holds a dislike for being "looked after" by men. But she tends to keep that to herself knowing that using her charm, intuition and intelligence by be the best way her by in so called mans world.

The early morning sounds of the Market pressed in as the Cab stopped.

"We'er her Mama"
Said the Cab Driver above her her, She waited for the Doorman to come open the cab door so she could step out into the entrance. The block of tenements she now lived in where by now means high class but they did have a staff and a level of security. Not as nice as the 'Family house' but here she was safe and free. The doorman she felt was a gods send and it had been some time since lurkers had come around to see the "sad bride" she was also happy for that as well. Stepping down from the cab she spotted a beggar sitting the side wall, she walked over a dropped a silver in his can.

The Doorman was now holding open her buildings large Iron door. She looked at it, big strong and warded. Something you expected in a city where nightmares came out at night to pay.

She dropped her Cloak on to the floor letting her 3ed eye see fully. Then pulled out her revolver and used her key she opened her door with as little sound as she could. What entered her hallway fist was not her but the muzzle of her revolver, followed by her face, eyes seeking into the dark.

"Nothing odd or out of place.. humm not a robber, someone here to kill then"

She slipped in and walking slowly down the Hall, taking time to look in each room. As she got to the master room a voice called out.

"You better close the door behind you sister, your letting all the heat out and this fire was a devils ball to get started"

She smiled and put her gun away then went back for her Cloak, closing the door she called back.

"I thought you said you were coming in the afternoon brother mine"

That fixed it, only one person ever called her In-cee and it was him, also he had given the safe words. She walked into the front room and flopped down on the lounger. Her brother, tall strong hansom horned. was stocking a just lit fire. He was a plane touched like her but where she had the taint if angles he had the taint of Devils. This did not make him bad, just a pain in the royal backside at time. Of course this mixed blood in one family thing should have kept them at odds. How ever the fact they both had a love of heat and fire linked them in a deep way. Kept them close It was in both their bloods. Mother had tried to explain it once; by saying "The fire will always be part of the Rosala blood line, it mattered not the type".
