Background:

Kun has always been a wanderer. Partially by choice, partially by trade, mostly because he was being chased out of town. Always the curious one, he never could keep his nose out of trouble. His mother always said he was part cat. Little did she know that he inherited his mischievousness from a demon.

He was never malicious or mean. He just couldn't keep his curiosity satiated no matter how many bars, locks, or whatever were placed in his way. Of course, he never cared about learning how to actually pick the lock; nor did he have the size to bust one open. Instead, he took his curiosity to the ways to unlock the universe itself. Why pick a lock when you can just walk through the door? Why climb to that window in the keep when you can just teleport?

So he applied and was accepted in the Gladhandlus School of Wizardry in city of Greyhawk. It was a small school, and they didn't screen their applicants well. In fact, they were excited that someone of his blood had even applied to the school. There, Kun learned how to disappear and reappear in new places. How to summon things out of the void to do his bidding. And how to get himself into the most trouble.

Kun was, and still is, always interested in the new. Reading about new places is one of his favorite activities, and he would often spend his time in the libraries researching planes, places, monsters, religions, localities, and such. His constant studies and eastern nationality caught the attention of the local chapter of the Church of (insert Scranford's god), as they were in need of a voyager on the quick. They approached the young scholar, and offered to hire him to help them with some travel arrangements to make a pilgrimage to the country of Chopon. After all, Kun looked like a Choponese. Never having visited the country, Kun accepted.

He was partnered with the pious priest Spencer Rondell.
