I would like to submit to you Kozaric of the Bow, my first PBP character from a game that went belly up very quickly. I will change him up if chosen.

BACKGROUND:

Kozaric was born to a young elf maiden whom succumbed to the advances of a passing adventurer. Unwilling to shame her family, she fled to the closest monastery to be cared for until her birthing of her half-human child. Afterwards Kozaric was left to be raised by the brothers of Erastil. Upon reaching his coming of age, Kozaric received a bag of gold and a letter with the description of his father and a suggestion to leave the Mierani Forest and learn more of his human heritage elsewhere.
Kozaric has finally made his way to Riddleport and is starting to finally understand his human heritage.

DESCRIPTION:

Kozaric stands 6’ tall and weights 160lbs. He has brown eyes and brown hair cut to the human style in Riddleport. Kozaric carries a well polished composite long bow and two quivers of arrows. He wears normal human clothing for a Riddleport resident, cut from dark green fabric with black trim. He grew up sheltered in a monastery so he is sometimes awkward in social situations. He is trying his best to fit in with the humans that surround him.

Kozaric listens to the conversation, contemplating the posibilities.
"It seems Sir, that Zincher has a real problem with you. I suggest hiring more guards."

Kozaric steadies himself and takes aim at the snake.

Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4


Uhh, isn't a snake normally prone?


Kozaric bounds from the catwalk bow in hand and moves towrds the kitchen while looking to find Eroril. He moves to the kitchen helper and takes her by the arm wispering into her ear,"Keep your voice down girl. We must not spread panic."

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13


Seeing Ironleg and Diego rush to the kitchen, Kozaric maintains his position waiting for one othem to call for assistance if needed.


Kozaric will once again walk the catwalk (On the catwalk, yeah on the catwalk yeah)paying attention to the goblin's new guest, but still watching the crowd for trouble.


Kozaric shakes his head then finishes his drink. "One gold for three minutes of seeing a man being eaten by rats. No wonder this city is a cespool."
Kozaric leaves his glass and walks back to the Goblin by himself to think about human socity and why he left the monastary.


Once seated, Kozaric takes a good look at the crowd below him. Other than the Goblin he has never been in a large gathering of people like this. He feel out of place watching all the activity and interaction, and orders a drink. Just to look the part of course.


Are the box seats above the crowd? If so, Kozaric will want to get one of those to maintain the high ground.


Kozaric attends dressed as usual with his hands wrapped with cestus, his short sword on his left hip, and his long bow in a quiver of arrows on his right hip. (If he is allowed to bring the bow.)
He looks forward to the match, and will stick close to Ironleg until he needs to take a seat.

"A duel. Two of the city's citizens decide to take each others life and tickets get sold."Kozaric shakes his head. "Well I guess I have nothing better to do then watch these idiots rush headlong into oblivion. Count me in."


Kozaric has remained at the Goblin, the last few times he ventured out nature turned against the city.


Kozaric enters behind Ironleg, carrying his bow and a quiver of arrows in his hand.
"Yes sir Mr. Vancaskerkin. We shall be here and ready to work.


Kozaric enters the main floor of the Goblin and moves to the ruffians. "This could have been avoided if you would have acted peacefuly." He bends down and checks the badly wounded sailor to see if he is in danger of death.

Heal:1d20 + 4 ⇒ (17) + 4 = 21

"Now leave and be glad that you can, and stay away from the Golden Goblin, or next time we will be forced to treat you as combatants."

With that, Kozaric turns and moves to find his friends.


As the drunkards are hauled away, Kozaric speaks in a voice loud enough for all patrons to hear.
”Citizens! Let it be known that the Gold Goblin will no longer tolerate lawlessness of such you have all witnessed tonight! This establishment will only be open to fine upstanding citizens in search of good clean wholesome enjoyment that only a grand casino such as this one can give! And if trouble walks through the door we will be here to insure that it is promptly carried back out and deposited into the street! Please go back to your evening entertainment. All is well!” Kozaric then turns and exits the catwalk to check on his companions.


Kozaric draws and releases twice in rapid succession, this time at sailor #3.

Kozaric centers himself, taking careful aim at the lead sailor.

I will hold my action to see if the drunks will leave, but if they decide to attack, so will I.

I am going to use my perfect shot. I am assuming I am within 30 feet, if I am not please subtract 1 from the Hit and damage.

Perfect Strike: You must declare that you are using this feat before you make your attack roll. You can roll your attack roll twice and take the higher result. If one of these rolls is a critical threat, the other roll is used as your confirmation roll. [/ooc]

Kozaric pulls his bow up and draws the string to his cheek sighting on the seeming leader."Citizens, you have been told to leave! Know that the Gold Goblin will not tolerate lawlessness, and we will meet force with force! If you do not walk out now, you will be carried out in a few minutes! This is entirely your choice!"

Initiative: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19

Kozaric is waiting for events to play out, but if needed he will take action by real time tomorrow morning.


Kozaric moves along the catwalk to get in a better position above the drunken sailors. He places an arrow to his bow string, but keeps the weapon down below the railing, waiting for the action to unfold below.


Kozaric has taken his place on the catwalk, checking for problems from above.

Kozaric frowns and shakes his head. "Well, I guess just one will not dull our senses to much."


"Well Dellarillos, it seems you are in luck, we are in need of a person with those talents, if you can provide them. Mr. Vancaskerkin has placed his trust in us to ensure the smooth operation of this fine establishment, and it is a trust that I take very seriously. The fine people of Riddleport need a good safe place to participate in nice clean and wholesome fun with out having to worry about any misguided miscreants trying to steal or con them out of their hard earned gold. If you can agree with that then I am sure we will get along just fine. Your shift starts 30 min before the doors open. Welcome to the Gold Goblin."


"Diego Diego Dellarillos is it? I don't care what Riddleport rock you crawled out from, there's a dress code for security operatives here in the Gold Goblin, specifically clean clothing, professional hair cut, and leather boots, preferably with a high shine on them. The first thing I learned once I got here to Riddleport is that when someone tells you he is a man of charm and usefulness, you need to put a hand on your money pouch. And the second thing is that if a man’s first name is the same as his middle name then you need to keep both eyes on him. What skill sets do you poses that would make you a valuable asset to Mr. Vancaskerkin?"


Kozaric stops and stares at the wind vanes shaking his head. ”The gods must be trying to tell us something with this event, “Look at this!” they are screaming at us, but what, by Erastil’s furry haunches, are we supposed to see?”


I was waiting to see if anyone else had questions for the Mages. If not we will head back to the Goblin.


"No sir, you have been very helpful with information and generous with the pancakes. If something about the blot changes we would be greatly appreciative in knowing about it. I look forward to seeing you tomorrow night at The Goblin, good day sir.”


"Yasir, we all have rooms there. The Goblin reopens tomorrow night actually, under new security. You are welcomed to attend."


Kozaric munches on his pancakes, listening intently to the speaker, but when the speaker finishes Kozaric raises an eyebrow,”So, the Blot is effecting nature, if you are of the belief magic is of the natural order of things, and is increasing in frequency and intensity. Why the Blot exists is still up for debate, but can not be in our best interest. Well thank you sir, if you need an operational arm of the Cyphermages in retaliation for the blot, myself and my friends are now partners with the owner of the Gold Goblin.”


" So are you implying that the disturbances may get worse? If so what can we expect? Are the disturbances related in a manner other than because the blot caused them?


Kozaric is taken aback by the friendliness of the Cyphermage Speaker.
"Yasir, I would like some pancakes? Uh, the reason my friend and I are here is because of the strange occurrences of late, why just a few minutes ago a huge flock of sea gulls crashed into your Cyphergate out there, and we were wondering if you all might have some facts about why this is happening."


Kozaric nods, "Yes, lead on."


Kozaric looks at the tall thin human and shakes his head. "No, of course not, have you? We came to ask if the Cypher Mages had any ideas on what is cuasing these strange disturbances. By the sound of things I would take it as no."


"By Erastil's furry arse! Has the world gone crazy?!"
Kozaric turns to the gathered Cypher Mages, "Explaine that then!"


Kozaric stands in front of the Cypher Lodge watching the sea gulls fly in their strange pattern. ”Strange days indeed my friends. This is not a normal occurrence, of this I am sure.”


"Right then, lets visit these cyphermages ans see what they can tell us. Then we meet back here and prepare security for tomorrows reopening."


Kozaric shrugs and pulls out a pipe and lights it with a tender stick. He inhales deeply and exhales a large cloud of smoke. He then begins coughing, and holds the pipe up to look at it. Still coughing, he throws it into the street.
When he gets his breath back he stands up and straitens his tunic."Definitely strange."He walks back to his room shaking his head.


Kozaric turns and comes to a semi relaxed form of attention, "Good morning Sir, it seems the gods have chosen this morning to present us with some gifts from the heavans. I hope it dosen't cause to much damage to this fine establishment."


Standing in the entrance way, Kozaric stares into the sky wondering what this city had done to anger the gods, and watching the damage cuased by the falling objects.


Kozaric wakes with a start to the loud clatter of the bronze dome ringing. He snatches his bow and quiver and opens the door to his room seeing Ironleg running out side he runs after him easily catching up. "This much strangeness can not be work of nature Ironleg."


Kozaric turns to his companions and offers a slight wave of his hand. "And with that I bid you goodnight, someone has to be up and moving in the morning."

Kozaric then turns and walks to his room for some much needed sleep.

Scarlet Delriddia is the cousin of Grand Duke Nestor Delriddia. Scarlet was raised with a strong aristocratic and militaristic background. She established a strong connections with Lady Gloriana Morilla and Princess Eutropia. She believes strongly in her country and in noblesse oblige.

Scarlet was sent to Korvosa after the fall of Queen Ileosa to study with a distant uncle. There she met Filarina Grantsliem and learned of the ideals and practices of the Order of the Scarlet Rose. Lady Morilla then asked Scarlet to join the Pathfinder Society to help her with increasing the influence and standing of the Sovereign Court. Knowing that the Sovereign Court supported Princess Eutropia, and upheld the ideals of noblesse oblige, Scarlet readily accepted a post with the Pathfinder Society.

Lady Delriddia's first title of Visbaronetess, was given to her directly by Princess Eutropia after showing the true colors of Remaio, a descendant of the Alcasti family. Scarlet's next major aristocratic accomplishment came when she established her hold of a borderland keep along the Jalrune River. After continued successful work with the Pathfinder Society, she was awarded the status of Countess.

Establishing strong support in Brevoy, she is currently working on establishing a country estate there, after being adopted into the Orlovsky family. Later Countess Delriddia was sent to Ridonport to investigate some troubling accounts regarding the General Arnisant Museum and Historical Residence. Her work there earned her even more notice of Princess Eutropia.

She has worked to secure her connections in Taldor and is now also a Viscountess. Scarlet then worked with the Sovriegn Court to secure the services of several noble families during the recent assault on Absalom. Her work there earned her adoption into the Arpador family. She has also become one of Princess Eutropia's trusted courtier's, surly to rise in station should she ascend the throne.

So now Countess of Vellessetta, Viscountess of Sembra, Baronetess of Abingdon, Visbaronetess of Hopeshire Keep, Scarlet Arpador Orlovsky Delriddia works to further the aims of Taldor, her people, the Sovereign Court and Princess Eutropia.
