Background:
Kondal grew up in Stedding Sofu, learning the ways of a stonemason. He loved working the stone, especially under the trees. It was a good life that he was able to go out and work in the cities of Cairhein, Tear, Illian and the like. It was on one of these trips his group was waylaid. Kondal was a married man, married to Sossal daughter of Anda of Stedding Sofu. However, he seemed to get lost, in is trek he was swept up in some battle and the stone mason felt the first pangs of war. The Aiel war.
Kondal fought hard to find someplace to belong, and in avoiding conflict, stumbled into the thing of nightmares. He found Trollocs! Having passed a hamlet not far from his position the wayward stone mason, took up his tools and fought. He slew the Trollocs and made it to the Hamlet who thank the light knew him for an Ogier. They healed and nursed the Ogier back together his hands and legs busted, his body scarred and an eye and ear lost. It took a month but he was back to full health and it was that day he became a warrior. His first weapons were a Hafted Axe and daggers. As he traveled heading north trying to track down the Army of Trollocs that should be down from the Blight, he picked up more.
A masterwork Club and Great Club gifted by Ogier, a Large Trident taken and reforged from a Trolloc, spears crafted to throw like the Aiel, but also not like the Aiel. He even had studded leather and a shield made, alongside a strange soup kettle modified into his helmet. As he traveled and spent time in abandoned steddings and in towns and villages, he would gather stones and craft something. Often he would talk to the creation as if it were real, and move on once he found the tracks he needed and continued on. Eventually, he found the Blight and fought a few years on the Border. Kandori, Arafellan, Saldean, and Shienarian began to learn of the warrior Ogier who would help in the defene of the lands before retreating for years. Some began to call him The Thundering Ram, his voice rumbling in Ogier song as he bowled through Trolloc ranks like a Battering Ram at the gates.
Kondal though has suffered greatly, he lives alone, avoiding other Ogier and preferring to limit his relations with humans. He hunts, fishes and forages for food, or sometimes trades his stone work for food and supplies. Still he does spend a year or two in an abandoned stedding before he moves on to aid in fighting Trollocs. Something though has tugged at him and he has moved south once more the borderlands being oddly quiet.
