Can someone tell me what the double barrel trait does?
Gun has two barrels. You can fire them separately to space out the time between reloading, or you can fire them both at once for a damage boost.
are they reloaded individually? or does one get a reload 'discount' if you reload both at a time?

From what I see it takes an action for each reload, but there is a consumable item that lets you reload both at once. But its a one time use. Apparently Inner Sea gun makers haven't figured out how to eject the spent shells for a shot gun.

I'm not going to say I'm not disappointed. I understand all the reasons and they all make since. A new player trying to play an Summoner or Magus would be terribly hard. And I won't continue beating what others have already said beyond its experienced players that were looking for examples on how these new classes would work.

I love all that you guys do, and will never be angry and demand you as a company are required to provide us with a free product above an beyond all the great free stuff you already provide.

Best of love to all of the team. Guess I'm going to start test building the two of them in Herolab.

Any update on the Summoner and Magus yet?

My understanding is that this will be a straight reprint collection of the Adventure Path. There will not be any additional material. It’s the first time Paizo has done this.

I’ll find out whether or not it is a part of a subscription, but I don’t think so.

Now that I think about it, when Dead God‘s Hand is finally released, these will be too hardcover adventure options.

What's Dead God's Hand?
Dungeon adventure meant to tie into the long-delayed Absalom book, likewise delayed.

Got you, I'm guessing a one shot and not a full adventure path?

Do we know whether next Wednesday is also the release date for roll20 and Herolab Online?

From the note on Herolab it looks like Sept first will have the rules available.

Is anyone else not getting any tracking with their tracking numbers? The tracking number (USPSMI) was generated on Aug 18, but there's still no info.
Same here. I was marked as shipped on the 18th, but the tracking link returns no tracking information as of this morning.

90% of the time I get something from Paizo, the tracking number doesn't work.

for those who remember the playtest,

Did paizo change anything or clarifications about summoner-eidolon condition sharing?

There are some rules on what conditions effect only one of you and what effects both. Its pretty logical for most things. Spent 3-4 hours last night going over scenarios with a friend on action economy and summoner looks solid.

I know its only estimations, but I looked at my subscription today. Its showing $7.17 for SoM along with SoT2 for August, $9.50 for SoT3 and $7.79 for SoT4, Guns and Gears and Great Bazaar. Not sure how one Adventure path is $2 more than 3 books. lol

What? no i haven't been refreshing the community service forum frontpage every 30 minutes since thursday looking for it. why would anyone even suggest that?
Your only doing every 30 mins? Poser. :)

I’ve had the Customer Service and Secrets of Magic pages up on my phone’s browser. Every time I get a text, I also check the forums. I have a problem.

That problem is my party really needs me to change from Wizard to Magus for us to win the Ruby Phoenix Tournament.

That is a pretty serious problem, how you gonna let your fighting team down like that?

I feel your pain. A couple of the players in the game I'm currently GMing are trying to find ways for me to kill them so they can play Magus and Summoner.

Is there any new news on release schedule? My players and me are relay excited for this book. I understand if there are delays and all. But waiting with no news has me on the edge of my seat. I find my self checking this form and the customer service pages at least once an hour . :p

I only hope there won't be any delays for Secrets of Magic :(
At this point I would just assume there is going to be some kind of delay. Not a software glitch like this, but the shipping environment is still a chaotic nightmare. Manage expectations and figure a 2 week delay, if it comes on time that's a happy surprise.

I totally agree with your statement, but damn if it the wait isn't rough. Really looking forward to the next two rule books.

After the gunslinger and magus, I don’t think I’ve heard more requests for any other class than the kineticist. Also, with how many people request blaster focused casting, it seems like a smart move to direct that through the kineticist. It seems like a win/win.

I would be very interested in a new psychic class that was either a spontaneous wave caster with only 1 spell known per level, but 3/4 castings of it per day, (so 7/8 spells per day past level 3, but all top 2 levels) with strong, caster focused focus powers, or a whole new kind of casting mechanic. It would be neat if it could use focus powers spells to empower specific cantrips for 1 minute and then could do cool stuff with telekinetic projectile, shield, and then maybe a new movement cantrip. A book of Psychic/self discipline feats and powers (rather than specifically occult) could be a great way to add in some more mystical tradition class feats for a bunch of martial classes as well

I really seeing Inquisitor going the route of the champion and ranger. Removing the spell list and rely on Focus Points for spell like abilities.

I've made an Inquisitor like character using a ranger. I focused my skills more around Intimidation and Religion. While RPing from there.

If Paizo does want to put more spell casting into it, I can see them going a similar path as the Magus.

I just hope its not an Archetype like they did with the Cavalier, I believe the Inquisitor is to rich of a class to be just tacked on as an add on to another class.

Is this first official confirmation that Black Heron was the magic warrior that turned against the rest?

I mean I had always suspect it ever since of reading about Ring of Nine Facets and its origin story of being created by nine of ten magic warriors pouring their energy into it while tenth (represented by black facet) didn't, but nice to have the confirmation :D

That would work. Right now it just looks kind of off on my shelf. All the rule books look the same. The rest of the Lost Omens look the same. This one is just looks off. But if all the region books look like this, that would make it look consistant.

Any idea when we will get the profiles on the new Iconics. I really loved the new Summoner's history. The Dwarf Gunslinger and half-orc(?) inventor has got me on the edge of my seat.
They will be showcased before the book launches with two blogs each. Thanks for your enthusiasm!
Thanks for the reply. I'm guessing there is not timeline on them?
We have a blog calendar, but I don't want to set exceptions that might need to change. Our focus is on Secrets of Magic before Guns & Gears. Thanks.

Completely understand. I'm looking forward to both books.

I'm really loving this book. A question I do have is why the spine was changed from the previous book. All the other Lost Omen books have the same spine with a solid color like the preview picture. But for this case the cover art is rapped around the spine. Just seems kind of odd with the rest of my collection.

For us that have the subscription, will we be getting the PDF tomorrow while we are waiting on the physical copy? Currently this has been removed entirely from my order history page.

So I got my PDF copy yesterday. While skimming over it(I'm not planning to run it for a while while my players are doing a different AV) I am confused on one of the enemies. There is an enemy called Soul Feeders near the end of the adventure. The stat block reads Elite Dread Wisps (Pathfinder Bestiary 6 page 81). I've done searches for this monster online and can't find the stats anywhere. Am I missing something easy?
Dread Wisps are in the bestiary in the back of the book

Like I said something easy. Why in the world is it Bestiary 6 then?

Thanks for the help.

The rules for elite monsters are in the regular ol' Bestiary on page 6, hence the "Bestiary 6". I think almost everyone has been confused by that one at least once. I hope they start formatting it as like "Bestiary 1 p.6" going forward.

Now that makes since. Thanks a bunch.
