He approaches it gingerly. "Ya think it's trapped?"

Kleetus slowly marches up to the body of the lamia. "And thus did Abadar do onto the undoers the deed t hat was done" he preaches, as he begins to decapitate the matriarch. "Praise be to the Master o' Aktun, Holy Abadar, for his... Woah, she sure squirts a lotta blood still. Anyone have a ker-chief?"

Also, what are we looking at here? Anything of note on her? Anything explaining how the back door into the Tapestry works?

No, Kleetus would not have cast it; however, it would still be in hand. So now he will cast it.

Do I need to move Kleetus to another position so that he may see her, or is this OK?

Was the See invisibility spell I attempted to cast from a scroll successfully cast after she AoO'ed me?

Kleetus stands up swiftly and casts a spell upon himself.

Cure Light Wounds: 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

His wounds close slightly, as his magic and Abadar's blessings knit his flesh together.

I heal a total of 11.

"Jest you wait there snake lady. Ah'm comin' t'give you Abadar's Holy rek-o-ning as soon as Ah git better" he sing-songs, steppingpast Lore onto the stairs.

Do our attacks miss my 5 or less? If they do, she has 2 less images.

Kleetus shakes his head, his thoughts clouded. Taking a defensive stance, even prone, he disappears, only to reappear next to Lore.

Taking the Total Defense Action, I gain a +4 AC, which puts me at my regular AC. I then use dimensional hop, moving back 25 feet. That action provokes, however, I do heal 4 from my judgement, putting me at -58.

Kleetus pauses, draws a scroll from his pack and casts a spell of See Invisibility.

Again, provoking all the attacks of opportunity.

"Now let's see who's playin' hide-n-seek."

Putting down his mask with a sigh, Kleetus calls out to Abadar for his stern judgement. Activating my usual pair, Destruction and Healing

"And if you fall, Abadar th' Law-Giver ain't gonna crush ya 'neath his boot. How ya feelin' 'bout that" he shouts angrily from beneath his mask, moving as if the rough terrain didn't hamper him. Free Action, I activate Agile Feet to ignore difficult terrain.

Double move, I end my turn.

"Abadar ain't suff'rin' that a door be in the way o' righ-tee-ous justice. Ah got a skul-ly-ton key" he says, brandishing his scimitar.

"Don't it look lahke magic?" asks Kleetus who is otherwise confounded by the water.

"Whelp, there's that crazy talk Ah heard 'bout. Them folk ain't right in the head they ain't" comments Kleetus, as unsubtle as one can be.

Kleetus sighs. "Whelp, here goes nuthin'." He pokes the Aspis agent looking least wounded with the wand.

Let me know if you want me to roll actual healing.

Ya want me ta make one of them conscious? Ah mean, Ah can..." wheezes Kleetus, who seemed to be ready to start healing himself from some of the damage inflicted by the creatures.

Kleetus calls upon Abadar's powers and casts Heroism, before calling on his gods mastery of travel to move down the stairs without trouble. Using the Agile Feet ability

"May-be we can talk? Ah like talkin'." he adds, putting down his tiger mask over his face.

Almost went full murderhobo and then realized I had suggested we try talking. So yeah, super edit.

"Ya sure we don't wanna try that big pit o' black down over there?" asks Kleetus, puzzled. "Oh well. On we go t'git them Lissalans. Although... Maybe we can talk them intah not helpin' the Aspis?"

Unless someone starts taking the lead on that, Kleetus will move forwards into that staircase.

Kleetus, looking dejected, munches on his lower lip. "Well shucks. We wanna try climbin' down or going down the trap? Maybe we tie a rope to whoever goes down the trapped corridor thinger and then pull when it starts gettin' bad."

I don't know that using dispel magic would end our problems. but I could be wrong. Any ideas/summoners with some spare level 1 summons with a deathwish?

"Why we gotta go down the trapped stairs? How 'bout we try going 'round 'nother way? Ah mean, there's that big ol' curtain right there."

Kleetus check with everyone else before knocking the tiefling out. Let me know if you need me to roll non-lethal damage. "Whelp" he continues as he lifts up his tiger mask "That sure wuz funny, fer sure. Where we wanna go? Through them curtain over there or the stairs? Ah like stairs. 'Xcept when they're in Pa-Go-Das he adds, making a strange face.

"Nice to see ya understand. What else can ya tell us 'bout them Lissalan cultists?"

Kleetus ties the archer up and asks everyone to check his work. "Ain't no harm in double checkin'."

Once everyone is satisfied with his work, Kleetus feed him one of the potions of cure moderate wounds. Unless told not to, but I figure we keep one cure moderate and both cure serious.

"Whelp, we got sum' them questions, we have. So Ah'd lahke you ta answer them without lying, to the best o' yer ability, tellin' us when ya don't know. Ah'm also gonna say that yer stuff... Well it ain't yers no more. At least it ain't fer now. If that's all right by you, then we can git to it" says Kleetus as he takes a knee, his vastly oversized symbols to Abadar getting in the way of his kneeling.

"Yer healin' did me all the good in the world, praise be. We could wake that wi-zard right up; Ah'm kinda curious 'bout this wayfinder he has."

Kleetus' eager, happy face turns sad. "Aw shucks. I wanted t'git that one. Let's keep 'em alive to ask all them questions all y'all have. " Going around, he first stabilizes the still living enemies before continuing by relieving them of their weapons, armor and anything magical or that he doesn't understand. "Who do we wanna quest-tiun first? All 'dem folk hasta have sum'thin' ta say. Anything in them small rooms?"

Kleetus will them go around and begin searching for anything of interest in this room and the four small rooms. Once that's done we will tie up their foes, anticipating the others might want to question them.

Kleetus turns to the caster . "Ya need ta stahp yer jibberjabber"

I heal 4 more. Do I need to identify this person before I Bane? Looks like a tiefling, so I'm going to go with Bane:Tiefling

Far be it from me to complain, but the bad guy is at -30 hp, 34 is the demoralize check I'm doing on him.

Kleetus adjusts himself five feet as the wound caused by the fleeing man and the arrow heal.

"OoooOoh AAAaabaDaarrr, My God and Bessta' frieeend..." chants Kleetus, calling down Abadar's ire upon his foe.
